OOC: Thank you guys for continuing on even in my delayed absence. You guys are awesome!

IC: Conrad then strolled to the center table where the group was congregated. “Your results are in. Turn order is as follows: Joseph Karlson, Urg’tohn, Isaria Thavos, Astrid Rousseau, Halai Cosgrove, Morak, and Ekaterina.”

Once order of play was understood, Michael Conrad then moved on to the answers. “And the replies in no particular order are as follows:

‘Sharing a drink with a stranger’
‘Mokbara’
‘Sheep’s Head (the food)’
‘A Nice Hat’
‘Truth’
‘Kick down a door’
‘Self care’ “

“Remember, in turn order you will match someone verbally with one of the answers. Said person will tell you if you are right or wrong. If a match is successful, the guessing player goes again (until one is wrong). The one correctly matched is out for the round. Understood?”

The table was just big enough for the lot of them, and he took a seat closer to the ladies. Intentionally glancing about he took a seat and leaned back in his chair while they all guessed.

-Michael Conrad, Black Sparrow CO

OOC: Adding in Liam’s reply while I worked on that post…

IC: Having already entered in her answer, Ekaterina stretched herself out on the beach chair. “I for one am glad for this opportunity. The last beach I was on was full of mines, which made long relaxing walks quite difficult.” Taking a sip out of the coconut in her hand, she fit right in to a picture of perfect relaxation.

Ekaterina Artemovich (Merc)

Joseph listened to the answers and took a moment to consider. Not too long though as he wanted to get this out of the way more than he wanted to win whatever this was. He looked at the two Klingons. He was familiar with Urg but the other one he had not seen. After a moment he pointed at Morak “Did you write down Mokbara?” He asked casually. This game would only work by utilising what he knew about his compatriots and so far he only knew the two Cabinet members personally and the larger of the two Klingons. However, he had no interest in wasting his skills on something so trivial and arcane.

Commissioner Karlson

Morak gazed at the Commissioner, and said, “no, I did not, sorry.”

  • Morak

Urg looked around at the gathered individuals. Finally he looked at Astrid and said “Did you ask for a nice hat to go with the nice day?”

Urg’tohn

Astrid looked over at Urg’tohn and smiled slow and amused. “No. I did not.”

Astrid

OOC: Just a quick note that it is now Isaria Thavos’s turn. I’ll check with her as she is LOA. :)

-Tony

Ekaterina took a long drink out of the coconut in her hand before speaking, “No luck for anyone as of yet eh? Reminds me of the day that I had to guess who threatened a Betazoid diplomat with only their distorted voice as evidence. To guess correctly, one must get into the other’s minds and look deep inside.” She took another loud slurp. “But not literally of course, as that would just be cheating.”

Ekaterina Artemovich (Merc)

Urg looked at the woman and said with a confused look “If you go go into their brain, they die before you can interrogate them.”

Urg’tohn, Chosen of the Builder… and Not The Fastest On The Uptake

Astrid laughed softly and covered her mouth. She was well versed in Klingon, having taken the language in her studies. Urg’tohn’s blunt misunderstanding was amusing to her.

Joseph stifled a smirk at the Klingons question “That depends entirely on how you go there” He was finally relaxing at least slightly.

Joseph

“Agreed.” She replied to Joseph with a grin. “But also… cheating.” she said, wrinkling her nose.

Rousseau, HotJ

“Hmm,” Isaria scanned the group, muttering the choices beneath her breath. She was never good at matching, so the idea of pinning phrases to faces was not on her go-to list of things to do. “Judge,” She announced, abruptly turning to Rousseau. “‘Truth?’”

It made sense, right? A judge encouraging honesty.. Eh, it would have do.

Isaria Thavos
Hardly a Matchmaker

Conrad remained quiet as he observed everyone. Of course, he knew Rousseau’s answer, but he allowed the judge to make her own call. Besides, for a judge, she certainly had quite the form. A part of him, was taking in the form of each woman present.

-Michael Conrad, Owner of Secret Securities

Patience was a virtue close to Isaria’s heart, but somehow waiting for Rousseau’s answer was not as easy as she had assumed it would be. Folding her arms over her chest, she considered the people around her, running that list through her head for what felt like the thousandth time. ‘Sharing a drink with a stranger;’ ‘Mokbara;’ ‘Sheep’s Head;’ ‘A Nice Hat;’ ‘Truth;’ ‘Kick down a door;’ ‘Self care.’ Sheep’s head? people actually consumed such a foul thing? Isaria was in no place to judge the cultural traditions of opposing civilizations, the Andorian way of life less than rational. But.. sheep’s head? It sounded as revolting as she could only assume it tasted.
