Wherever the Governor was around noon on this particular day, he received a text-based communique. The message was labeled as being from the new Head of Science and Terraforming, an alien individual who had been on the colony probably longer than he had been, but had only just now been promoted to Head of Science and Terraforming.

Governor Halloway was just about to leave for lunch when he received the communique. Curious, as always, he opened it and read its contents.

As you could tell from the return address on this message, I am Morra, Head of Science and Terraforming.
I would like to invite you to my residence for a dinner, to discuss the current state of affairs regarding the continued construction of Dome 2. And in order to become better acquainted with one another.
Attached is a list of possible evenings for the dinner, please respond at your earliest convenience.
If you have any close family members, they are invited as well.

The message was signed and sealed and certified as having come from who claimed to have sent it.
