Xavier sat in his office. He was twisting his pointer device in his fingers. What he was really doing was pondering if it was time to hang up the Lt. Gov role and maybe SF altogether. He was, without a doubt, the most dedicated SF officer there was. However it had consumed a large part of his life. Running OED was another heavy burden. Not one he hated but he thought to himself was it time for a change. If a command presented it self would that be enough? Or was it time for more?Xavier
As Xavier was pondering, Tyra’s voice came over his comms link =^=Lt Gov would you care to have coffee?=^= She asked as she sat in her officeCE
Xavier snapped out of his doldrum self pity. He managed a smile.
=^=Yes I would. Your office or a place with better scenery?” He asked.
Xavier
=^=My quarters. I’ll make dinner to go with it.=^= Tyra offered already having a plan in mind for dinner.

“I will be there.” He answered.
After about 20 minutes he arrived to her quarters. Being the Chief Engineer she had a good billet as they used to say in the old Earth military. He hit the chime and waited.

OOC: Just keeping this alive for now.
Sidney
Tyra looked at the clock “Enter.” She said from the kitchen area “Sidney, come in.” She said gesturing to the bar stool “Coffee or something stronger?” She asked as she stirred a simmering pot of something that smelled very fragrant.
“How are you doing tonight?” She asked as she stirred the pot and took out some flat bread that had been warming in the oven “So dinner tonight is Morroccan Chicken with Nan.” She said

OOC: Actually its confusing but his name is Parker Xavier but everyone calls him by his last name. However Parker is fine in this case.
IC:He came in and smiled.
“Fine thank you.” as he leaned in and hugged her. Something he rarely did but he wanted to establish that this was off the hours and casual.
“Are you kidding that meal sounds incredible.” He added.
In fact the heaviness he had felt before lightened quite a bit suddenly.

IC:Xavier sat down at the table after making himself a drink. Wine was always the drink of choice at a meal like this but he preferred whiskey. Wine was not his thing and never had been. Of course the glass of water was a nice balance. Whiskey washed worries away but water took care of the food.

Tyra smiled “There’s whiskey on the side board.” She said pointing to the cabinet next to the door as she dished up dinner into bowls and put the nan on a plate and poured two glasses of water “Dinner’s served.” She said taking a seat “Penny for your thoughts.” She said “You sounded distracted when I asked you to dinner earlier.” Tyra said looking at Parker “Everything okay?”
