The com was transferred directly to Xavier who was to say the least perplexed but did not show that he was.

=IKS Kavar’ton this is Lt. Governor Xavier. I agree to the meeting on the terms that it is held on the USS Centurion and in orbit. Your cruiser can be in orbit with us at the same time.=

Xavier was not about to meet anywhere with an Andorian pretending to be a Klingon but in a setting he chose and controlled. If the Klingons had something u their sleeve they would be taking on the Centurion to do it.

Xavier

There was a sound from behind the Andorian and then a large hand grabbed the blue-skinned figure and shoved him out of the way.

Appearing on the screen was a truly massive example of the Klingon species. A long braid of black hair fell across one shoulder, bits of metal… and maybe bone?… woven into the strands of hair. A deep rumble of a voice rolled through the comms and the figure said “No no no no no… I am so sick of starships I could spit. Pick a bar somewhere. Or maybe Karlson will host at the Hotel? Yeah! Thats even better! Ask Karlson, I’m sure he’d be happy to help out with arraignments. Just tell him I asked. We go back.” and the Klingon laughed loudly. “Tell him I won’t throw any severed heads on the table this time, either! You all bring the food, I’ll bring the booze. See ya there, Gov!” and he howled in laughter as he turned and walked off.

The Andorian appeared again and found his seat. Taking a deep breath, he looked at the Lieutenant Governor and said “Sir. Urg’tohn, Lord of House Duroc and Chosen of the Builder Kaavar’ton, will await your invitation. The customary diplomatic adornments for a visiting High Council member are not required. Thanks you, Lieutenat Governor Xavier. House Duroc looks forward to meeting you in person.” and the comms went dark.

Urg’tohn, Lord Duroc, Chosen of the Builder

The truth was the Lt. Governor was not unaccustomed to Klingon rudeness and disdain for not setting the agenda. They had to be the alphas no matter if it was truly the case or not. He just wanted the person behind the Andorian to step forward. It was usual Klingon back and forth. If he had seen weak and not made a demand then the Klingon would be intolerant of the show of weakness. The Klingon had give him the courtesy of speaking for himself and acknowledging in his own way that Xavier had acted strong and honorable. He had offered in his own way an alternative that allowed him to still look strong and Xavier to have the assurance of a safe place to meet. It was possibly one of the best show of a parley in Federation history, aside from the then First Officer Riker’s famous service aboard the Pagh.

Xavier confirmed his attendance and sent a message back that he would contact Karlson. Truth be known he did not know the Chief’s brother well but he would contact the Chief of Police and have him set it up and attend as well. Keeping a Klingon off guard was a good thing and the presence of OED’s chief of police would do that. They would think Longstreet might come with his boss but would not think the other Karlson would be there.

He sent a message to Karlson before he left the office.

When the sound for a new message came on Joseph’s terminal and he checked to see the familiar Starfleet Delta, he assumed that it was a new status update from his Starfleet counterpart, he was surprised to see that it was from the Lieutenant Governor and even more surprised to see it was regarding the House of Duroc. The request was also a bit strange. After re-reading the message he spun around in his chair and looked out his window. He unrolled his sleeves and fastened them, grabbed the wrist computer from his drawer and tapped the communicator, and had a few words with his brother. After the conversation was over he opened a new Channel =^=Commissioner Karlson to Lieutenant Governor Xavier, I have made arrangements for this meeting to take place at the Hekla Hotel Penthouse. Although there is private security I thought since this is an official function of yours Starfleet Security will be granted access and control internally whilst there will be a Police presence externally. I’ll be there when you arrive=^=

Commissioner Karlson

((lol anyone gonna inform Bri?… just curious))

OOC: Ok. I was thinking this was set up kinda between the Klingons and O’Hara to begin with. No problem.
IC:

=^=Lt. Governor Xavier to Mining Commissioner O’Harra. It seem the house of Duroc wants a meeting. I am sending you the coordinates, date and time. You can come on your own or with me. Just let me know which. SF Security will have your name and ID and will let you pass. We might not control the inside of the hotel but will control the entry and exit with police units in the area too. =^=

Xavier then sent to the other Karlson his security requirements and copied the Chief into the message.

=^=I’ll meet you in your office fifteen minutes beforehand. If that’s sufficient. Thank you, Sir.=^= Bri frowned as the comm went off. Why was Urg requesting an audience with them both? Hadn’t they already discussed the mine? She wondered if there was something more to this than she had originally thought.

At the appointed time, Bri showed up. Her red hair was barely tamed in a loose knot on the back of her head. Tendrils danced around her face and neck like fire spilling out of a canister in 0 G. She wore a deep red short sleeve tunic top that came just past her hips in front, and in the back is went nearly to her knees. Her black slacks were loose and moved like shadows around her legs. Matching black boots kept the line of shadow from being broken as she walked. Arriving at the Lt Governor’s door, she tapped the chime and waited. He hadn’t said formal dress, so she was set up as the ‘Fire Born’ that Urg had dubbed her. She hoped that being at the Governor’s side would show her allegiance to the Station. But being dressed as she was and assisting with Urg and the mine would show she was still loyal to him as well.

It would be an interesting evening, to be sure.

Brianna “Fire Born” O’Harra
Head of Mining
((sings walking down the hall Gov’ners to the left of me, Klingons to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle woohoo))

OOC: Appropriate song I think.
IC:

The Lt. Governor smiled.

“You look great Ms. O’Harra. I hope I am not overdressed but its protocol since like it or not he is a Klingon High Council member. Shall we?” He said indicated his arm.

OOC: I think we can continue on the other thread where I have us arriving.

Xavier
