It was her first day as the new Chief of Mental Health and despite everything, Kaili found herself feeling a little nervous as the doors swished open in front of her. Her dark hair was pulled back into a neat bun and she was dressed in a pair of dark grey dress pants, a pale lilac blouse with a name tag pinned to her chest and black flats. After entering the lobby, she took a step to the side and just stood there, taking in her surroundings. She wanted to get a feel for this hospital and people who worked here. Would anyone approach her? Or would they just look at her and then move one? Both were valid and reasonable responses considering that she was clearly not in distress in any way.~Dr. Luana Iolani Kaili
Amelia was walking out of her office and saw the newcomer “Is there something I can do to help you?” She said looking at Kaili’s name tag “Dr. Kaili?” She asked “I’m Dr. Barnes, Chief Medical Officer.” Amelia smiled “Welcome to OED V.”

Turning her head to look at the other woman, Kaili gave her a warm smile and said, “Thank you, Doctor. Right now I am just trying to get a feel for this hospital. Or at least this part of it. My plan is to not only meet with the members of my staff over the next days and weeks, but to also meet with at least the heads of the different wards and with you. Maybe we can schedule something unless you are free now?”
