Serik had only just arrived on OED V. His first task was to meet the governor, with whom he would likely be working with closely in the upcoming weeks.Now, why was this? Well see, Serik was trained as an urban planner and architect and the entire decision process as to what he could and could not do would be within the governor’s hands. He didn’t the name of this character. Even whether it was a he, a she or anything else not previously mentioned.
That being said, as he docked in the space port, he immediately requested the welcoming party put him in contact with the governor’s office to request an audience.

A small raven-haired woman with PaDD and stylus nodded at the request. “Indeed, sir. Governor Hyrushi is most eager to meet you himself. Please follow me.” She led the new Director away from the shuttle arrival gates and into a private concourse and out the doors to a waiting ground car.
As they drove through the city, the new Director of Building and Construction could see quite a bit. The city was quite large, but to his trained eye it was becoming very crowded. A plethora of architectural styles were vsisble; as were buildings of all shapes and sizes. From single story retail buildings to towering luxury apartment buildings, the city of almost four million people was alive with activity.
This was an instance where Serik began looking attentively to the architecture of the city. It was a dome, mind you. And not much of a city, since it was so small nobody could actually call it that.
About thirty minutes later, the car pulled into an open are dominated by a single tall building overlooking a park-like landscape. “Government Tower, sir. All government offices are located here.” The car turned and went into a heavily secured underground garage area. As the car stopped, the raven- haired woman said “Top floor for the Governor and Lieutenant Givernor’s offices. Lift is through there.” She pointed to pair of transparent doors through which could be seen a single elevator door.
“Welcome to Oed V, sir.”

Serik, the Vulcan after all, nodded, and proceeded to walk up to the top floor of government tower, paging the Governor’s officeé

The door opened on the fortieth floor of the government tower. A central desk sat off to the left of a large seating area. A human woman looked up from her desk interface and said “Hello, sir. May I help you?”
Governor’s Receptionist
‘’Hello. I am Serik of Vulcan. Live long and prosper.’‘
Serik would do the Vulcan hand gesture.
‘’I have an appointment with the governor. See if he remembers please.’‘
