As the General was walking out, a familiar face was approaching the Receptionist. Dasca gave Tenkiller a smile. “Major General. Fancy meeting you here,” she said, bowing her head to him.
Tenkiller smiled and came to attention and saluted. “Lieutenant Governor. A pleasure to see you, Ma’am.” and then he relaxed and said “If I’d a known you were coming too, we could car-pooled.” and he chuckled.
Eela laughed. “That would mean I know what my schedule is well in advance, and the only ones who can claim that are my assistants. It’s probably the oddest change in my day-to-day life.”
Meanwhile the Receptionist gave a nod to Eela to let her know her presence had been acknowledged and paged Zerbo. “Minister, Lieutenant Governor Dasca is here for her appointment.”

Zerbo looked confused. It was odd getting so many people at once but he was used to that once before and will get used to it again. Then he realized he did have an appointment with her. He must’ve forgotten since he was only thinking about jumping. Pressing the com. “I am ready. Please send her in.” He stayed standing so he could greet her once she entered.

“He’s ready for you ma’am,” the receptionist said once there was a clear break in the conversation.
Dasca gave a quick nod and then smiled at Tenkiller. “Well, onwards. It was nice running into you, Major General.”
Stepping through into Zerbo’s office, Eela bowed her head to him. “Minister Zerbo, I’m glad we could meet.”

He bowed back. “Likewise. Do I call you Governor or Captain?” While she answered he motioned for a nice seat for her at the conference table while he went to the bar. “Can I get you anything to drink ma’am?”

“Actually, just some water if you don’t mind, I’m on the go a lot today.” That and if she had a drink at every meet ‘n greet she did, she’s be plastered for a month!
“Water it shall be.” He fixed his drink and poured her a nice glass of water and brought them over to the table. He put hers right in front of her and then placed his on side where his special chair was. He climbed into his chair and pressed a button and it rose up to be at her level. He was small and fat and regular chairs were hard to get into.
Eela moved over to the table and sat down, resting her folded hands on the table. “Outside of the Starfleet Complex, I prefer not to use Captain, though it’s a hard habit for people to break and I’ll accept it. But I would prefer Lieutenant Governor. Ma’am covers it all when formality is expected,” she said, her hazel eyes studying Zerbo intently.

“Well Lieutenant Governor. I shall call you madam from now on unless I need to refer to you by title. Then it will be Lieutenant Governor. I use madam because I cannot do contractions. You may do the same with me but replace madam with Zerbo and Lieutenant Governor with Minister of Finance.” He took a sip of his bourbon and sat the crystal glass back down. “Now what can I do for you madam?”
