Kolchak was in a very disgruntled mood after her ‘fun’ with the Colonial Customs and Defense Authority of Oed V. Oh I am so going to throttle you Sam, when next I see you. she thought about her boss Assignment Editor Samuel Oedkoven. Write one little article that reflects badly on Starfleet and I am banished from Earth. she thought again as she looked about for the hover vehicle that was to pick her up. Finally a young Benzite approached her “Excuse me Miss, you would not happen to be Carsyn A. Kolchak, from the Federation News Service?” Carsyn looked at the Benzite “I am.” She replied. The Benzite seemed to relax and smile “I am Qinrot, your driver.” Again Kolchak looked at the Benzite “Okay, please show me your credentials.” She requested, knowing that Sam would have forwarded them to her assigned driver, one perk she had on this assignment. The Benzite pulled out a small PaDD that had the official Federation News Srvice credentialing for the Benzite. “Okay Qinrot show me to our vehicle.” With that they walked over to a hover car and Quinrot went to take her bag, “That’s okay, I will place it next to me in the back seat.” Replied Carsyn and before Quinrot could open the door she had already opened it and slide into the backseat. Quinrot sighed and got into the front “Where to Miss Kolchack?” he inquired. Carsyn looled at her PaDD, “Oed Realty Group, I am supposed to pick up the keycodes to the FNS Facilities, which also is to include my living residence.” Quinrot put the hover car into gear and headed out.

As the vehicle was moving Carsyn looked at the colony that was to be her new home in exile. She noticed that the dome was no longer in place. “So they have removed the dome I see. That must be a good sign.” she said to Qinrot. “Yes it is a good sign, I believe we are a step closer to starting full reclamation of the planet soon.” Carsyn smiled, “How long have you been on the planetZ?” Quinrot replied “Since before the disaster with the comet.” Carsyn nodded. “So how long you been working as a security and chauffer?” Quinrot looked at Carsyn in the mirror “Five years, and my work for the Federation News Service is my biggest and most exclusive deal. I was told I was to be at your disposal for the duration of your stay or you dismiss me.” Carsyn nodded. “Okay, just remember I can be real difficult to work for and with.” She said with a smile as the hoover car pulled up in front OED Realty Group. “Impressive” Carsyn said, “Indeed it is” replied Quinrot. “Do you wish me to accompany you?” Carsyn thought for a moment “No, I should be fine.” With that statement she got out of the vehicle and made her way towards the lobby.
