Tiberius left deck 2 after Ans’lik was transported to the brig. Tiberius knew he was going to have to talk to the prisoner. He made his was to the brig where Ans’lik was being held. It took him a few minutes to get there. When he arrived to the brig, he could see the action going on. Ans’lik still had the same smug aggressive face up that he had when he was standing between the force fields before he was beamed out. There were a number of star-fleet security members standing around to verify everything was in place as it should be. Tiberius noticed that Ans’lik looked ever to him as soon as he walked in the door. Tiberius was curious to hear what Ans’lik had to say. He walked over to the area where the Ans’lik was. When he arrived at the force field, he said to Ans’lik, “So how is that smug face now? I bet you were not expecting that, were you?” Tiberius was being a little bit of a smart aleck. He wanted to see how the Andorian would respond. Tiberius had a grin on his face, trying to get the Androion enraged.

The antennae moved as Cattaneo tried to rile him up, but Ans’lik just watched him carefully.

A few moments later, Dasca stepped into the brig with Captain McBride at her side. Both looked rather displeased, to say the least.

“Well, that was entirely unnecessary drama, but hey, I’ve come to expect the surprises around here,” Eela said. “Expect Resisting Arrest to be addd to the list of charges, though frankly it’s the least of your concerns.” She turned to McBride. “Make sure he gets access to a lawyer. He’s going to need one,” she said, spinning on her heel and striding for the door.

“You think you’re so smart. Got it all figured out,” Ans’lik snarled.

Dasca halted and turned back, eyeing him. He was oozing loathing like he had eaten it for breakfast. “Intelligence had nothing to do with how this all unfolded, Commander. Really it was the lack of it that played a bigger role. I just pulled at a thread at watched it all unravel into a rather messy pile.” She shrugged. “I did my job- no more, no less. Hate me if it makes you feel better, but it’s no skin off my back, to use a Terran phrase.” She nodded to Cattaneo and McBride and left the Brig.

~Eela Dasca, (Admittedly Smug) Lt. Gov.

Tiberius returned the nod to Eela as she walked out of the Brig. He then turned to Ans’lek and said, “Do you have a lawyer or do we need to find one for you?” Tiberius then looked over at McBridge and said to the captain, “I’m going to let one of my junior officers handle this and the hand off of anything needed from the lawyer once that is determined. I would like to go prepare my report, if that is alright at this time?” Tiberius waited for a response from the two folks in order to move forward with everything.
