It was the morning following Séan and Mika’s evening stroll, stargazing, and the unfortunate verbal faux pas. Séan slowly rolled out of bed and took his time enjoying a hot shower, a cup of coffee, and some breakfast. With the morning necessities out of the way he gave Mika a video call, while being sure to be fully clothed this time.Counselor Iven
Mika was already at her office at the hospital when she answered the call on her PaDD. “Lieutenant Iven!” She noticed he had not forgotten the shirt this time. “Do you need something?” She asked curiously.

Séan nodded with a smile. “Yes, I was just checking when your schedule is open for me to come by and hammer out the details of how everything works and what sort of expectations you’ll have of me.”
Counselor Iven
“Oh! Ummm…” Mika poked at the PaDD, checking her schedule, and then switched back to the video call. “As soon as you get here, come to my office.”

“Alright, see you in a few minutes.” Séan said then disconnected the call, finished getting ready, and headed out the door.
It took a little longer than he expected to navigate the hospital but after asking for directions he finally arrived at Mika’s office and pressed the chime.
Counselor Iven
She pressed a button to let the door open and waved him in. “Did you bring your PaDD?” She asked, gesturing to a seat in front of her desk.

Séan waved the PaDD in his hand as he moved to the chair and sat. “Good morning to you Lieutenant Mika. I hope your night was restful.”
Counselor Iven
“It was okay. I hope you were able to settle in.” Mika replied, smiling. She passed him a data disk. “You’ll have an office of your own, of course, to hold your counseling sessions in. This,” she pointed to the data disk she’d handed him, “will get you all caught up work wise as well as having the files for your cases. You’ll have to sort out your own schedule however you see fit.”

Séan reached forward and took the data disk. He looked at the small thing in his hand for a moment before he slotted it into the PaDD. He returned his attention to Mika. “Sounds straightforward. Should we coordinate lunches so that one of us is available while the other is out?”
Counselor Iven
“With the three of us, you, myself, and Commander Korczak, I’m sure we’ll be more than covered,” Mika replied. “If you do have any problems or questions, you can always come find me.”

“Oh okay.” Séan nodded in newfound understanding. “Do you have any questions for me before I go check out my office?”
