Dius steeled his expression as he exited the turbolift to the deck on which the counsellor’s office was situated. With a flick he checked his wrist chronometer to ensure that he was not running late. He was in a bit of a foul mood as he exited the lift. He loathed and avoided all counsellors as much as possible. Doubly so the telepathic ones. He understood the necessity of service based psychologists and counselling in general. But every last one that he had ever met simply assumed that his life was their business and that they could simply consume it at their will.

Even if he wasn’t using Star-Fleet as a cover life to stay ahead of and protected from pursuit he wouldn’t exactly be warm to the idea of someone automatically assuming they owned the right to rifle through your experiences. But he would simply play the religious card and be moderately obstructionist until the counselor in question gave up as they had every other time.

He rounded the corner almost the exact time as the last person he wanted to see right now, Captain Thorne. Apparently the universe was going to take perverse delight in screwing with him today, about the only way it could get worse is if a Quad just magicked itself out of thin air.

“Ohh for Fu....Captain, what are you doing here. I am scheduled to speak with this Counselor at precisely.....” and he looked at his chronometer again “Now. Or was this appointment a ruse to get me alone and can we expect security to be making a unwarranted appearance too.” Dius said as he subtly sneered at thorne.

Involved with thoughts of her own, Shirazi didn’t see Bogir until he actually spoke. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She so did not need to have to deal with him today. “I know you’ll find it hard to believe, Ensign,” she put a lot of emphasis on his rank. “But I’m the one with the appointment right now so why don’t you go off and annoy someone else? Or IS there anyone else? I can’t imagine a kind word coming out of your mouth, so maybe the counselor is your only chance for conversation?” She reached past him and tried to hit the chime.

“In any case, this appointment is mine.”

—Thorne, CO

At which Dius mockingly bowed in a overly florid manner and said in a highly sarcastic and satirical tone whereas before he had made a mockery of her with informality, now he made a mockery of her with hyper formality. “By your command Comrade-Captain SIR. This lowly Ensign apologises for his PRESUMPTION of attending an appointment as requested and shall WITHDRAW as persuant to the good Comrade-Captain’s orders.”

“By YOUR leave Comrade-Captain SIR?” Dius said, emphasising in a ever patient but suffering tone certain words as he stood at rock solid attention.

Through their many encounters, Bogir had never been polite—well, maybe the very first time when he offered to help ease her sleeplessness. But that had gone south quickly. Since then, he’d had nothing but venom and bitter accusations to spew in her direction and she wasn’t going to put up with it any more.

Gray eyes narrowed behind the blue glasses. “You are an ass, Ensign Bogir.” Now she shook her head. “I haven’t done anything to deserve the way you speak to me. I have tried to help you but you won’t let me in, so IF I’ve screwed up, its YOUR fault, not mine.”

—Thorne, CO

For once Bogir didn’t have a snappy come back as if what she’d said had stunned him. But then after a minute he pulled a pad from slit in his lower pants and started muttering “Gotta remember that one, If I’ve screw......your fa......mine”. He looked at the Padd and his face just went WOW for a few moments. Eventually he looked away from the PaDD at the thorne and said, “Wow, that was by far the most.....wow. I think I’m going to need counselling to get over that comment.”
