Hanlon did his best to get into sickbay with as little assistance as possible. With the occasional flickering of lights as pains hit him.

Snip

“Understood.” Hamilcar stated, aware of the emphasis of Humanoid. “We did just receive word of another podd, Science and security are bringing it aboard now. We detected another life form aboard.” Hamilcar explained to Odinson.

“Yes, I heard. Lt. Oberon is on her way there now. For sector with a Black Hole in its midst This sure seems to be a popular area of space?”

Sathut stepped into the Sickbay and stood nearby, giving Hanlon a small wave. “I’d like to evaluate his mental state if I am able to, Captain?” the alien counselor requested quietly.

  • Sathut

“By all means.” Hamilcar stated, taking a step back to give her some room.

-CO

D’vash stepped back to make room for Sathut. He was sure there was some mental ibstabilty inside Hanlon’s head. You don’t spend that amount of time locked in a life pod without it affecting your mind in some way, even if you’re in cryo-stasis. . .

Odinson (XO)

“Hello, Lt. Hanlon. I am Sathut,” the alien counselor said, stepping over to the passenger. “Are you feeling alright?”

Sathut, CNS

Hanlon nodded. “Yes. Especially given how I’ve spent the last… 200 years. Excuse me, but what is your position aboard the ship? I thought I had encountered all the senior staff.”

-Matrix

The feline alien purred a little. Despite his small size, his voice was deep. Like Morgan Freeman. “I am the Head Counselor aboard this vessel. A position that did not exist back in your day, if my research sources are to be trusted. I am responsible for maintaining the mental health of all members of the senior staff and several of the junior officers. I and my team are responsible for the mental health of the entire ship.”

Sathut, CNS

“Things have changed. I’ve missed Starfleet though.”

-Matrix

“How have you spent the last 200 years?” Hamilcar asked cursorily.

-CO

“Drifting in and out of consciousness. I thought the pod’s chronometer was faulty after a time, until I was told how long had passed.”

-Matrix

“Were you in some sort of stasis?” Sathut asked. “I heard of an individual who was stuck in a kind of body-state stasis but still experienced the passage of time. She was on a planetoid of sorts. She is on the ship of one of my Galdori acquaintances. What was your experience like, other than the drifting in and out of consciousness? Did you have long periods of awareness? Did you eat and drink anything during that time?”

Sathut, CNS

D’vash stepped back to observe the situation. His training involved reading people: subtleties, nuances, perspiration, hear rate change. . . He listened intently as well, trying to catch contradictions in Hanlon’s responses.

Odinson (XO)

Hamilcar stood there with his hands behind his back, observing the exchange between the counselor and the LT.

-CO

Vel’ten monitored the being. Watching the vital signs closely.

Hanlon seemed to be growing tired. “ I don’t remember any stasis or sleep or anything…”

Just then the voices of Sural and Pretha came over the comms.

=^= Sural to transporter room. Transport immediately the pod in my immediate vicinity to Sickbay. =^=

=^=Put it in a stasis field. That’s a security order!=^= Pretha added quickly with a voice that edged on panic.

Medic Maneet Sandoval hear the request from the cargo bay to Sickbay. Seeing that the CMO and other officers were busy, she took it upon herself to answer. Tapping her comm badge she answered:
=^= “Sandoval here. Acknowledged cargo bay.” =^=
She closed that channel and opened another, =^= “Sickbay to Transporter Room Three.” =^=
=^= “Weaver here,” came the quick and slightly agitated reply. Weaver was performing an audit of the transport logs, and it always seemed that somebody wanted something when he was busy, =^= “How can I help, Sickbay?” =^=
=^= “I just received a request from Commander Sural to transport a pod to Sickbay. I need a few moments to set up the stasis field. Can you hold the transport in the buffers until I’m ready?” =^=
Weaver had heard the order and saw that it had been routed to his station. =^= “Not a problem, Sickbay. Just let me know when you need it.” =^=
With that Weaver cycled the transporter controls and held the incoming pod in the transport buffer.

Sandoval made sure that there was a spare isolation room and fingered the controls bringing the force fields and the medical scrubbers online. It took a few more minutes for the display panel to signal that the room was clean. =^= “Sickbay to Weaver. It’s a go.” =^=

With that a familiar blue swirl of light and audible whine filled the room as the transporter cycled the civilian stasis pod into the clean room. Sandoval waited until the transport cycle had ended, then checked her controls again ensure the room was still ‘clean’. Seeing the panel still green, she turned to report in to the CMO.

OOC: there were other questions I asked. I was more interested in the answers to the later ones. I’ll re-paste them.
“What was your experience like, other than the drifting in and out of consciousness? Did you have long periods of awareness? Did you eat and drink anything during that time?”

D’vash kept his ears turned into Hanlon’s responses, but watched the pod coalesce and solidify inside the stasis field. Hitting his comm badge, he asked, =^=Pretha, what’s up with this pod?=^=

Odinson (XO)

=^=Sir, I recommend no one open it yet and minimal contact except to be sure occupant is fine… We are trying to figure out… something here....=^= She wasn’t sure how much to lay over open comms and hoped he would understand. The pod was safe, but she wasn’t so definite about the three left in the bay.

She seemed worried, But whether it was over being on open comms, or the pod itself, it was hard to tell.
