SNIP

Medic Maneet Sandoval hear the request from the cargo bay to Sickbay. Seeing that the CMO and other officers were busy, she took it upon herself to answer. Tapping her comm badge she answered:
=^= “Sandoval here. Acknowledged cargo bay.” =^=
She closed that channel and opened another, =^= “Sickbay to Transporter Room Three.” =^=
=^= “Weaver here,” came the quick and slightly agitated reply. Weaver was performing an audit of the transport logs, and it always seemed that somebody wanted something when he was busy, =^= “How can I help, Sickbay?” =^=
=^= “I just received a request from Commander Sural to transport a pod to Sickbay. I need a few moments to set up the stasis field. Can you hold the transport in the buffers until I’m ready?” =^=
Weaver had heard the order and saw that it had been routed to his station. =^= “Not a problem, Sickbay. Just let me know when you need it.” =^=
With that Weaver cycled the transporter controls and held the incoming pod in the transport buffer.

Sandoval made sure that there was a spare isolation room and fingered the controls bringing the force fields and the medical scrubbers online. It took a few more minutes for the display panel to signal that the room was clean. =^= “Sickbay to Weaver. It’s a go.” =^=

With that a familiar blue swirl of light and audible whine filled the room as the transporter cycled the civilian stasis pod into the clean room. Sandoval waited until the transport cycle had ended, then checked her controls again ensure the room was still ‘clean’. Seeing the panel still green, she turned to report in to the CMO.

OOC: there were other questions I asked. I was more interested in the answers to the later ones. I’ll re-paste them.
“What was your experience like, other than the drifting in and out of consciousness? Did you have long periods of awareness? Did you eat and drink anything during that time?”
- Miriam

“I… think so. I remember eating. I must have had something to drink. I never eat without a drink…” Hanlon’s grip on present reality was slipping.

D’vash kept his ears turned into Hanlon’s responses, but watched the pod coalesce and solidify inside the stasis field. Hitting his comm badge, he asked, =^=Pretha, what’s up with this pod?=^=

Odinson (XO)

=^=Sir, I recommend no one open it yet and minimal contact except to be sure occupant is fine… We are trying to figure out… something here....=^= She wasn’t sure how much to lay over open comms and hoped he would understand. The pod was safe, but she wasn’t so definite about the three left in the bay.

She seemed worried, But whether it was over being on open comms, or the pod itself, it was hard to tell.

Pretha
CoS

=^=Understood, Lt. Report when you’ve got something good to tell me,=^= the XO replied.

“What? What’s… happeni…” Hanlon’s eyes turned black “go… I have given you coordinates. Go.

-Matrix

“I agree, no access. Commander, I’m going to return to the bridge, see if anything else is going on.” He told his XO. He had a feeling he was needed on the bridge. Something felt off about this whole thing.

“Aye, sir.”

He left sickbay and started back towards the bridge.

-CO

Pretha’s voice came over the comm once more. She sounded worried, =^=Medical, we’re bringing Reno to you… something’s wrong.=^=

Pretha
CoS

“Dr. Vel’ten, it seems you have another patient on the way.”

Sathut looked at Hanlon, his head tilted. “Well, that is different. Who, may I ask, am I speaking to now?” Perhaps this would be a source of answers?

Sathut, CNS

D’vash heard the change in Hanlon’s voice and moved back to Sathut’s side and partially answered the counselor’s question. “I believe that is the first entity we encountered.”

Odinson (XO)

It didn’t take long before Pretha palmed open Medical and led in Sural carrying the unconsious Reno. Seeing D’Vash, she sighed in relief and smiled slightly for him before addressing him in a more professional manner. Now was not the time for hugs, regardless how much she could use one. “Sir… Sural used the Vulcan neck pinch and he went down. The trouble is, he isn’t getting back up. He had been trying to open the pod. That’s why we sent it here.” Her mind remembering her orders as an edge of concern tinted her words, “It’s behind stasis, right?”

Pretha
CoS

Sural stopped briefly as Pretha went around him to explain. As she did so the engineer’s eyes scanned about to find an open biobed to set Reno down on. Fortunately traffic was light at the moment and he located one nearby. Setting Reno down as gently as possible, he turned toward the action. The pod was still there as was Hanlon and a smattering of medical and Sathut. He stood quietly should they inquire about opening the pod and requested an engineer.
- Sural

Vel’ten still medically monitored the patient.

Vel’ten CMO

OOC: Which patient?
IC:
Sural looked with impassive attention on to what was happening. Reno had been set down and ‘should’ be coming out of the neck pinch sooner than later, though he had no idea how all of this quite worked with the ‘being’. Logically it may not have even been him that put Reno out necessarily but the entity.
- Sural

((bump… XO? CMO? Anyone? We just brought in an unconscious body, there’s a pod Pretha doesn’t want open and a strange ‘entity’ speaking thru a crewman… lol))
