Remy noticed for someone that had been kidnapped, Petrov was looking rather fresh and clean, but perhaps a bit thinner.
=^=Petrov, what ‘appened? Are you alright? ‘Ow did you end up on Vulcan?=^=
=^=No thanks to that XO of yours. I was kidnapped in daylight standing outside the darn tent they were trying unsuccessfully to bargain in. My captors, who unsuccessfully tried to interrogate me dropped me off there. It seems your artifact search raised some interest and I paid the price for it. SIR.=^=
Petrov was indignant but in reality he was not angry with the Captain. The man was his usual self. He was wanting the blood of the XO.
Reilly began the task of tracing the comms to find Petrov’s exact location. He smiled at the man’s blaming of him… had he not wandered off, this would be an in-person complaint.
The computer confirmed the signal location was through the Starfleet/Federation communication network, and the point of origin was Vulcan, at the primary Starfleet compound on Vulcan.
Reilly looked twice to be sure, but then sent the information to Remy.
Fin was getting a little impatient. She was the one who’d called the meeting, waking everyone up in the middle of the night. Was she happy that Petrov had been found and was alright—sure, but she had her own business to deal with. She chewed at her bottom lip—the Admiral wouldn’t be pleased if the Wolverine took too long to get after those artifacts she still had to tell the others about.
Reilly looked up the course they would need to get Petrov. It would take them a full standard day at Warp 9 to get to Vulcan and back. He sent that information to Remy as well.
OOC: Petrov has no idea on any info not spoken so for him its just silence.
Mikel was wondering what the wait was. However he was probably happy to be left on Vulcan if the Vulcan’s left him alone. At least none of the drama would come from the Vulcans like he would get from the crew.
“So… Petrov is on Vulcan?” asked Mado.
=^=Am I needed in this conversation anymore? If your in a hurry don’t worry about me. I am sure the Vulcans wont mind me staying=^=
Petrov would do almost anything not to join that crew again. In fact he could mastermind his reassignment from the ship if the Vulcan’s left him alone long enough.
Reilly spoke up and said =/\= Shuttle’s leaving now, Lieutenant. We’ll wait for your arrival back before we head out from Risa. See you in a few hours. =/\= and cut the comms and he looked at Remy and the rest. “We will have to debrief him, sir. And…” and he cast a glance at Finn Mado, “… we will have to see if he has been compromised in any way.”
Finally! Fin looked around at the others and began. “Now that Petrov is sorted out, I called you all here to tell you that I was contacted by Claudia Donavan from the Warehouse. She said a cargo ship carrying artifacts, has gone missing. It was last seen while on its way to Memory Alpha, somewhere near Tellar Prime. I asked about the particular objects It was carrying and got a list from her. One ancient Vulcan vase that initial analysis indicated needing to be kept in the dark vault, another ancient Bajoran vase, also needing to be kept in the dark vault after using the Bronzer, a third ancient Tkon vase, James T. Kirk’s glasses, a wristband from Mercy Hospital from 1986 that has healing powers, a pen belonging to J.R.R. Tolkien, a 1947 hairpin owned by a Nurse Garland, a knife that is said to have killed Gabriel Bell in 2024, a Tal Shiar agent pin, circa 2253, a scroll owned by Enabran Tain, a Starfleet Insignia owned by a Starfleet Security officer, circa 2149, a Kurlan naiskos – not owned by Captain Picard, and 3 of a set of twelve hexagonal stone shaped artifacts that have symbols of the Chinese zodiac on them.
“Any items intended for the dark vault are extremely dangerous and need to be placed immediately in a powered Warehouse 18 Class 10 containment device, which is already part of the supplies Admiral Frederic sent our ship on to get. Were we successful in getting them? Also, Captain Kirk’s glasses may have certain temporal effects, so we’ll need to handle them with care. The Nurse Garland 1947 hairpin may have temporal effects, as it is related to the time when the Ferengi Quark time travelled and was the cause of the Roswell incident. The knife that killed Gabriel Bell seems to cause wild emotions in others when held, so we’ll need to be careful with it too. The twelve hexagonal stones are not to be kept together for long periods of time… they tend to disappear to the known corners of the galaxy when they do… which is why they have to be found… again. As for the Kurlan naiskos, and the related intergalactic spy agency items – the effects seem to only activate under special conditions and vary from person to person. More items to be careful when handling… those being the Tal Shiar agent pin, the scroll owned by Enabran Tain and well… potentially the Starfleet Insignia owned by a Starfleet Security officer… probably Section 31 related. Comments or question?”
