The flecks on light caught his eye as well as the sheer number of pin pricks in the hull. They must of hit something on a micro level he thought to himself. But for now he needed to make his way up the CIC.

He scanned the pin pricks and the motes of light with the tri corder. No harm in trying gather information to get to command once he got to CIC.

He continued down the corridor. He didn’t know where the damage controls teams were but he was making a note of the damage he could see on the deck at the moment.

COS

The pin pricks were not consistent with a hit by a micro meteor or like object. they had no heat effects, scorching or tears along the perimeter. The other damage was consistent with a sudden radical stop which included hull stressors, shifted equipment, and detached panels.

OOC: Sorry for the delay been moving house… damn you RL

IC:

Riloc took in the damage. “When we stopped in a hurry.” He muttered to himself.

He reached the end of the corridor directly in front of the turbo lift shaft. He ran the tri-corder over the door way checking for to see if one; there was a turbo lift there and two if he shaft was exposed to space. He was still debating the climb to CIC he was not sure if it was his brightest idea but at the moment it seemed like the only way to get more information and free up his security team still stuck in the brig.

CoS

Turbolifts were designed to go to the closest floor and wait. In this case there was none waiting at this deck, but who knew how close the next one was. As far as loss of atmosphere, the tricorder didn’t detect any issues with air in the near vicinity.

GM

Riloc made a decision he pulled the wall panel away and override the turbo lift door. He would climb the few decks to the CIC if the way was clear.

COS

The door opened reluctantly to the over-ride manual control. Reassuringly Riloc could see a turbolift car four decks lower. That would mean a fall wasn’t necessarily fatal, probably but not definitely. It also meant that since Riloc couldn’t see a cross force filed he could go four decks into each direction with only limited difficulty.

GM

It would be a calculated risk. He would have to hope that the power did not come back on. So this would have to be a quick climb. Riloc reached out and managed at a stretch to get a hold of the ladder rungs. With a grunt he pulled himself across onto the ladder. With a glance down he began to climb upward towards deck 23, nine decks was probably going to keep him… if a turbo-lift didn’t first.

COS

Four decks up there was a turbo lift car blocking the access. The ladder was within a niche that theoretically would allow a person to lie flat within while a car passed. This was not the same as climbing which meant a person couldn’t lie ‘flat’ because they had to move their hands and legs. In simple terms Davon couldn’t even extend his arms two inches when between the ladder and the turbo lift pod. Maybe he could worm his way, but the eight feet or so that was a lift compartment would take several claustrophobic minutes.
