Simon sensed her concern, both for the ship, and also for his own well being. “I’m hanging in there,” He said aloud, trudging along in the procession through the Jeffries tube. The pain was manageable for now.

As always, his telepathic senses were on high alert, in case he was able to pick up any thoughts or feelings from other crew members aside from those he was with.

-Counselor Simon Arbogist

The telepathic individuals picked up many known and indeterminate minds. Perhaps as many as twice as many minds as they would expect given the decks they were moving through.

“Good to hear counselor,” Heather smirked reaching for the next hatch. if she wasn’t mistaken it should lead them out onto the deck outside of Sickbay so that they could get their wounded tended to and she could head down to the Engineering section to see what had happened and why.

After taking about twenty minutes to cover a distance that should have taken less than five. The group would find themselves in a fairly crowded sick bay. Those who somehow found their way there didn’t have much of an idea what to do now that they were ‘healed’. There were a few medical personnel available for the team to fix what ailed them.

Ooc: Luke I assume they are in Alpha Sickbay and went up from deck 8 to 3 rather than down to 26? If not I can change the post.

OOC: That’s what I thought they did… if not they aren’t there yet.

In the hubbub of noise and clearly confused people, injured, groans and the general sickbay clamour that comes from medical people at work came a loud and somewhat piercing whistle noise. The crowds moved slightly to reveal an older man in a black T-shirt and jeans which looked rumpled, dusty and mildly torn. He was sporting a half healed cut over his right eyebrow and was leaning on a cane which held a communicator badge and pips embedded in it.

Now that he had the crowds attention Ryley lowered the hand he had just used to amplify his whistle and looked around,

“Ok listen up. This isn’t a Sunday picnic, for all intents and purposes we are going to assume somethings happened and are in combat procedures. This means that sickbay is operating on triage system delta. Medics will treat green-level patients, nurses tend to yellow-level patients, and doctors work on red-level patients. If you have received treatment or fall into a ‘I’m not injured just really confused and or shaken up’ I’m not interested in you, you are white level and this is a red zone.” He indicated the area of beds and equipment. “Red zone is for the dropping off and collection of red level patents only. White zone will be the recovery ward…” he indicated the area further up sickbay. “… make your way there, you will have to share the 47 beds and the floor space till we can access Beta Sickbay. Someone will bring you water and whatever else you need but it won’t be me. Am I clear?” He looked around the collective faces. “Then move people.” He bellowed.

As the people hopefully began organizing themselves with some help from the staff Ryley made his way over to the group that had just arrive and gave them a glance over. “You lot look like you had fun getting here.” He said grimly.

OOC Awesome post

Heather looked around hearing the CMO’s speech and knowing she wasn’t injured in the least. or if she was she would already be healed. She looked to the group she brought here and gave them a nod as she turned to leave. “Ensign Whatshisname, when you’re done here I will see you back in Engineering, no rush though.” She told the Ensign that worked with her. Heather turned to leave before anyone could stop her and started to make her way towards Main Engineering. She felt safer in the forgotten levels of the ship.

Ensign Onthespot.. looked at her for a moment disappointed. “No rush… Ma’am. I don’t surmise that we have all the time in the world to mess around.” He remembered the sound of the hull vibrating at the last time they breached the force field.

OOC: Given the time it took to get to get five decks up… it will take a very long time to get to the engineering deck. And ensign Whatshisname… is Onthespot.

GM
OOC: With engineering where it is and marines up 6 decks that encompasses some engineering regions including main engineering, would Whatshisname have encountered marines on the way? Just askin <G> .. gene

OOC: If they hadn’t seen them, they certainly heard them blowing holes in the ship to move from one section of the ship to another. The problem is they didn’t head towards this section of the ship. The CIC, Marine Barracks, Flight Deck and Engineering, there area’s the marines were going to didn’t cross this deck. The fastest way to move… and there is no real way they would know this is to double back to the Rec Deck… then link up to the Marine Barracks and then to the Engineering section.

Heather looked back at him narrowing her eyes, “You’re also injured, but hey if you want me to be more strict then fine get your arse back to Engineering as soon as you’ve been taken care of, then I’ll see you without delay as soon as you have had your arm looked at. and not a moment later.” Heather told the Ensign not impressed with his look of disappointment she was being considerate if he didn’t want that then so be it. she could be a harsh task manager.

Ryley watched the group. “Noooo we dont leave the nice safe sickbay to dangers unknown.” He said. “Can we deal with any injuries first before we go galavanting anywhere else.”

He held the tricorder out in a whos first gesture.

“I am uninjured, I brought three injured officers to you, Ensign Onthespot, The counselor and a Science Advisor, they are the injured ones.” Heather pointed out the three officers that she had brought to Sickbay for Dr. Ryley to look at. She was not one of them. There was no way she was letting any doctor look her over and find the Nanites that kept her from aging. Nope nope nope not happening. “This ship needs my attention so I can figure out what the hell is going on so if you’ll excuse me Dr. I need to go.” Heather told him.

Heather Argeneau, CE

OOC: I’m back! so in the interest of speed and coming back before I’m completely emotionally prepared I’m hopping straight in.

IC: Raal groaned as he drifted back into consciousness. His head pounded, he could feel his pulse in his temples. He blinked against the lights and realized he was laying down. He lifted himself up on his elbows and regretted it almost immediately as his stomach roiled. “Wherre am I?” he said weakly and looked around trying to focus his eyes on something.
