As Ryley started to come back to the land of consciousness he uttered a few mumbling curses in what sounded like Romulan and then Klingon, as Granger jostled a broken rib the swear turned louder. “…me down.” He muttered.

Katelyn ignored the mumbling physician as she initiated the transport sequence to the Chimera’s Sickbay. Thankfully, it was remarkably empty, operating on a minimal crew since the ship was not on assignment and there were no crew members in need of medical care.

“Drop him on the biobed there,” she ordered, pointing to the closest one and then flinging down his belongings. “I’m sure there’s a nurse around here somewhere or he can treat himself.” Noticing that he had begun stirring, she offered a wicked grin and added, “or I can practice the first aid that I learned at the Academy.”

Granger politely grinned as he unceremoniously but not roughly deposited the doctor onto a biobed. “That’ll be 12.50 plus tax. Thank you for travelling with star-fleet marines.” The marine said with a deadpan face. He’d been wanting to say that ever since the colonel had forced them to watch that 20th century movie about a man and his beloved land transport vehicle that he used to earn a living on the mean streets of new york.

Katelyn laughed and looked at Ryley. “Put it on his tab,” she commented with a smirk. Her features grew slightly more serious. “Thank you for your help.” Her appreciation was sincere as she held out her hand to Granger.

“Put it in her tab…and move unless you want me to ruin the Upholstery.” The greying old Doctor mutter groggily as he turned onto his side, facing Grander’s shoes and made a sort of weak retching noise. He was sick of course, not bothering to care if the marine had moved out the way, because why not add to the humiliation. Finished he wiped the back of his hand across his mouth and rolled Onto his back. “Jacobs…remind me to file a complaint about your drafting measures.”
