Sometime after his encounter with the counselor, Ryley did as he was bid and went to the lounge. He sat at a table in the corner and rolled the ice in his synthetic scotch around the glass. As he waited he watched the people and played his favourite game of ‘diagnose the passer by’Ryley
MDSoon the doors to the lounge would open and in walked the Counselor. Simon stopped just inside for a months, scanning the crowd. He saw Ryley and made his way over to the corner.
“Hello there,” he said, taking the seat directly across from the other man. “I hope I haven’t kept you waiting long.”

Ryley watched Simon approach and raised an eyebrow at the question. He tilted the ice towards the man. “Nope, just long enough to work out that guys rash is either his uniform or he is using his girl friends soap which doesn’t agree with him. He thinks it’s something embarrassing given the fact he hasn’t seen about it but I’m trying to work out if that’s because he’s embarrassed at using girly soap or if he’s worried about that time he gone drunk last month at the below decks poker night or whatever.” He drank his scotch.
