Once the insanity of the end of the mission had finished up, a communication went to the entire crew:

=/\= All Hands, report to the Crew Lounge at 1800 hours. No formal dress required, duty uniforms are sufficient. =/\=

At the appointed time, Katelyn stood in the area, dressed neatly in her duty uniform that seemed to be fitting just a little better these days.

Koria walked in and looked around, glad that they hadn’t had to dress up. They should be thankful enough that she had taken a moment to put on a clean uniform, there were still way to many holes in the ship. But for now, the engines were working. Hopefully they could get to a spacedock soon, she could use the extra hands.

“Captain,” she said as she walked over to where Katelyn was standing. “I hope you are getting the chance to enjoy the quiet after our last mission.”

Lt Sutret - CE

Mirai entered right behind her chief, carrying the appearance of one who had emerged from a crawl through every jefferies tube on the ship only moments earlier. Her long, black hair was rapidly escaping its ponytail and her uniform, while still regulation - just - had a single small tear on the left shoulder that threatened to spread were the ensign to move with any vigour. However, the half-empty bottle of bloodwine in the half-Klingon’s hands suggested that she were indeed off duty and committed to enjoying the party.

Spotting Sutret conversing with the Captain, Nakuto made her way over to the pair and, after taking a swig from the bottle, held it aloft as she announced, “Captain! It seems today was not a good day to die. And for that I am thankful!”

Katelyn had been about to return the Chief Engineer’s greeting when a bedraggled Ensign complete with a bottle of bloodwine made her appearance. The Chimera was such a large ship that she, unfortunately, did not know every crew member on sight, although she had a nagging feeling that she’d been asked to give particular focus to this particular one and, as such, had reviewed her file. She glanced again at the woman’s rumpled appearance and a small smirk danced across her face. “That’s a succinct way to put it, Ensign,” she finally commented and then glanced at the CE.

OOC: I figured this is a good thread to do the IC hand off. We can say it occurred before Gene started having too much fun. :)
