Oh, this would be fun. The sarcasm in her thoughts dare cross her features, the second she realized where she needed to report next. As a member of a society so rarely found in Starfleet, she wondered just how equipped they were to handle a patient of Jelna descent. Flooding back to her, came the thoughts of her last physical, when the doctor had spent a good hour questioning her about certain oddities in her chemicals makeup. She prayed this wouldn’t happen again.

Adjusting her uniform, pulling down its too, she rounded the corner, her eyes darting back and forth the doors she hastily passed. Each one, she knew, bringing her slowly closer to the inevitable destination of the Sickbay.

There it was. Wrinkling her nose, Khavo pursued the bay, slipping through the doors as they slid open at her presence. Quietly, she searched the Sickbay for any sign of an unoccupied doctor. She wished to get this over with as quickly as possible, so she could forget it ever happened.. at least until she contracted the common cold or broke something. Shaking away the thought, she stood quietly to the side of the main Sickbay, looking like someone who picked up a woman from an underdeveloped planet, stuck her in a Starfleet uniform and sent her to the Sickbay.

OOC: Bump. :)

OOC: Sorry.
OOC: It is no problem!

Gong’da was finished with his 1300 hr appointment and looked around to see if anyone was waiting. Sure enough, the was someone, but what a magnificent someone. It was a Jelna or what appeared to be one. He smiled from ear to ear showing his razor sharp teeth.

Walking up to her. “My, my my! This is a pleasure! It is such a rarity to see your kind! If you’re here for a physical, then please have a seat and I’ll get a tricorder. ” The dwarf of a Ferengi said as he left to get one.

Cheerful– or just greatly intrigued, she couldn’t yet tell which. It didn’t matter though, Khavo already liked his enthusiasm. She hadn’t the chance to meet many Ferengi in her time, making this as much a learning experience for her, as it was him.

“Right you are, doctor.” Khavo offered her own crooked grin, jumping up onto one of the biobeds. Swinging her feet, short legs making it far less than difficult, she waited for the doc to return.

She would notice eventually that he would be just intrigued and if she ever met other Ferengi, then she would notice that they would be much taller then he.

Seeing her legs dangle he smiled as he was coming back. “Ah. A fellow short person I see! Well this shouldn’t take long, except for programming your species into the darn thing. I don’t know why it is not already done. It should have been done when you were transferred here.....there. Done. Please stay still for a moment. ” He began to scan her.

(Did he find anything or are you healthy?)

(Let’s say there’s a slightly elevated heartbeat– but that is probably just from excitement. :))

“Oh.. it’s a pain wherever I go. Sometimes, the doctor has to resort to writing things down, so they can put the information in later. Luckily, we’re not too different from a certain pointy-eared species, so that should offer some basis.” Khavo shook her head, a small grin remaining on her face.

Staying still, she waited for the doctor to finish the scan, refraining from swinging her feet again. She did, at heart, have a bit of a child’s complex- frivolous and big-hearted.
