Khavo had always been the friendly type. When she was young, she used to walk up to the most random of people on Rigel, trying to make friends with them. Of course, this mechanism of going about life didn’t always work out, but sometimes she got the satisfaction of making someone smile. Although those days were long behind her, perhaps further than she cared to admit, Khavo never passed up the opportunity of a new friendship. Especially if the person was at least half as weird as she was.

Around 20:20hrs, give or take five minutes, Khavo found herself in front of Gong’da’s quarters, toes outstretched as she tried to verify she had the right place. Cursing her height, she reached up to press the chime, wondering if her tardiness would cause a problem. Unfortunately for Khavo, finding Gong’da’s quarters had been far more difficult than she anticipated. Shrugging off the possibility, Khavo rocked between her heel and toe, waiting for the doc to answer the door.

OOC: Sssooooooooooo sorry about being late. I love the title!

IC: Gong’da was in his chair putting on his lounge shoes after he had gotten ready when he heard the chime. He got down from his couch and ran to the door and opened it. Smiling he looked at her. “Wow! You came!…I mean, come in! Have a seat anywhere you want. You’ll find that you can sit in the furniture like one of the big boys or tallies as I call them. I had furniture made for me. So it will fit us both!”

“Thank you! Isn’t it great, feeling like you’re a tallie?” Khavo grinned, oddly satisfied at finding chairs that were actually her size. They made her feel like she wasn’t as diminutive as her frame determined her to be.

“It does feel great except when I leave here to go to work and then try to plop my fanny in my station chair like I do here and fall on my butt!” He smiled.

“You look great! I hope that I do as well if we go out in public?” He walked over to the replicator. “Do you want something to drink?”

“Trust me, you’re rocking your outfit tonight,” Khavo teased, a facetiousness dancing through her tone. At the sound of a drink, she pipped up. “Sure! Host’s choice,” she smiled, glancing around his quarters.

“Alrighty then!” He turned around to the replicator. “Two French ports. Any region. Please. ” once that was done he took the glasses and brought them over and handed one to Khavo. He clinked them together. “To friendship and beyond!” He said smiling and took a seat next to her.

“I found that most people don’t like drinks from my homeland and when I was able to take leave from the Academy, I traveled to France and really liked their wines. I hope you do as well.” He took a sip and smiled broadly.
