Du’Ralle growled as the blade sliced through his flesh and threw his bat’leth to the floor. “You cheated!” he exclaimed as he cradled his wound, watching as blood poured onto the ground. Ryalla scowled, her telltale blue Andorian twitching as she threw her own knife to the ground and squared up to the young Klingon in front of her. “I did not cheat, perhaps if you spent more time surveying the battlefield and planning your strategy, rather than just swinging that overgrown pitchfork around, you would stand more of a chance…” she offered as she picked up his bat’leth and thrust it back at him.

Du’Ralle snatched the blade off her with his good arm and began to raise it above her head, wincing in pain. Ryalla put a hand up and shook her head. “Now that isn’t very honorable is it? You have been bested in combat by a superior warrior, your people must have some kind of rules about attacking an unarmed opponent, besides which, you look like you’re about to pass out. He scoffed as he threw the bat’leth down again. “Klingons do not pass out!” he shouted as he made his way towards the door in a huff and promptly collapsed in the doorway to the holosuite.

Ryalla chuckled and shook her head. “Don’t tell me that was an actual attempt at humour?” she asked and she wandered over to her friend. The two teenagers were often getting themselves into trouble and although there was the odd cross word, for the most part they were inseperable. Ryalla playfully nudged Du’Ralle with her boot. “Come on, I’m hungry…” she grumbled. Ryalla gulped as she noticed he wasn’t moving. Nudging him a bit harder she said with a bit more panic in her voice, “come on, stop messing around…” she added as she rolled him over onto his back and gasped as she saw the pool of blood under him. She had been so busy taunting him, she hadn’t noticed that she had injured him that severely. She knew she was going to get in to trouble for reprogramming the holosuite and disengaging the safeties yet again but there was not a lot else she could do. She tapped her comm badge as she frantically looked for something to stem the bleeding.

=^= Um…medical emergency in holosuite 6! =^= she screeched down the comm badge as she stripped her top half down to her vest and pressed her shirt into the wound to stop the bleeding. “I’m sorry…” she whispered to her unconcious companion, hoping that someone would come quickly.

=/\=Acknowledged, =/\= came Harry’s voice over the comm.

Ryalla’s breathing quickened as she realised no one was coming yet. She quickly tied her shirt around Du’Ralle’s wound and tightened it as best she could. Then she jumped up decisively and realised she was stood on his arm. She whispered ‘sorry’ as she stepped back then attempted a heroic leap over him and landed on his leg. She gulped as she heard a slight crack but decided he wasn’t really in a position to complain so sprinted out of the holosuite and down the corridor, hoping that she would find someone quickly. She was drenched in her friend’s blood and was looking like a hot mess. She briefly stopped to have a look at her reflection in a console and recoiled at the state she was in. She briefly thought about popping back to her quarters for a clean up but as she was quite fond of Du’Ralle she thought she should probably get him sorted first. She dashed around the corner and spotted Cross and Bradford down the other end of the corridor. Crying and gasping she sprinted down the corridor towards them.

“Please help me!!” she blubbed as she neared the pair. “I think I killed him!!” she added, going into a full hysterical fit. As she stood in front of them shaking like a leaf, Du’Ralle’s blood dripped from her fingertips and splashed on the deck. “And I tore my best shirt…” she sobbed as she wiped her nose on Cross’ sleeve.

Cross blinked in shock for a moment as the young Andorian girl ran up to him then his security instincts kicked in as he moved past her quickly toward the holodeck. Given that it was a few short meters down the corridor and it was the direction she had come running at them from it was obvious that it must be the scene of the ‘crime’.
“Come with me,” He said shortly to the girl over his shoulder.

Ryalla gulped and sheepishly looked at the deck but dutifully followed Cross as instructed.

As he neared the holodeck he noted the doors were forced open by the body that lay in their thresh hold.
=^=Cross to Sickbay. Medical emergency in Holosuite 6! Stat!=^= He bent down to check if the young Klingon was breathing as he noted the girl’s attempt to bandage her friend. At least she’d had the presence of mind to do that.
“What happened?” He asked sharply to the girl.

=/\=We’re on our way, =/\= Harry’s voice panted as he ran along a corridor. He arrived just a moment later as Ryalla was about to explain.

Harry listened whilst he took out his tricorder and began to scan…

Ryalla nervously bit her lip and frantically thought of how she could put it that would get her in to the least amount of trouble. “Um…well…Du’Ralle asked me…told me…that he needed to…to…perform a…uh…Klingon ritual…so I spoke to Ensign Brad…” she started then realised that Ensign Bradford was stood in front of her and would probably know she was lying. “…um…I can’t remember his name…in engineering who disengaged the safeties…we were just doing some training…” she cut herself off as she realised she had contradicted herself. “…then he fell over…and landed on his Bat’leth?” she offered with a puzzled look, clearly even she didn’t believe her own story. Glancing down at the Bat’leth on the deck she realised it was distinctly clean and clearly had no blood on it so tried to slide it under a bush with her foot.

Du’Ralle was still alive but had lost a massive amount of blood. The wound had left a large laceration in one of his livers as well as a punctured lung. He also had a fractured femur. His breathing was slightly laboured but his blood pressure was dangerously low due to blood loss.

Cross had stood when the medical officer showed up and left him to his work and his normally cheerful face was in a frown now as he considered Ryalla. “You have uttered three lies in that statement, would you care to revise it or would you like to spend some time in the brig?” He asked looking at Ryalla. He hadn’t needed his psychiatric training to tell him the young girl was lying, his security instincts screamed them as well. Obviously this Ryalla and Du’Ralle had been taking part in some Klingon exercise in the holodeck with the safeties taken off. This woman was digging herself deeper with every word she spoke.

OOC: What is Ryalla’s rank and department?

Cross Sec

Gong’da heard the message and acknowledged the com. =/\=On may way!=/\=

When he arrived he saw Cross there glaring at the woman and saw Harry there performing his duties. Harry is a great doctor and will make a fine CMO someday. He smiled at that and quickly lost his smile when he saw how much blood was on the woman and on the deck. He pressed his com badge. =/\= Sickbay. We will need six quarts of Ensign Du’Ralle blood. He has lost a lot. Prepare for immediate transport.=/\= He didn’t need to kneel down beside Harry since Harry was only a few inches shorter then Gong’da when Harry was on his knees. “Doctor. What do you need me to do?” Gong’da asked since Harry was running the scans and got her before him.
