The snow usually deals with blood from the Ushaan duels back home, but that doesn’t seem like it would be an appropriate ceremony for this event.” Byr replied. “Why is it silly?” he asked, going back to the topic of silly string rather than the violent encounters he had had back home.

“I supposed it might be because it isn’t a very serious piece of string” A slightly accented voice came behind the Andorian “Apologies for the intrusion lads, mind if I join ye?” A tall dark-haired man stood holding a large glass and a plate small bowl filled with small yellow bites.

“Of course, Lieutenant.” Aaron said, gesturing to the last empty chair at the table. “Anyone else walks in we’re gonna need more chairs.”

“Indeed we will” James said sitting down, placing the plate down and taking a sip from his drink “So we talkin’ ‘bout silleh string?” he asked cheerfully.

“I just don’t understand the fascination with something that makes such a mess,” Byr answered the CSO. “I mean, humans do have some strange historical methods of fun, for us it was witnessing an Ushaan, now nothing gets the blood going quite like that,” he said, his antennae twitching excitedly.
