For some reason on the Promenade and in the various clubs, gravity is not lost, and lights remain operational, in a way. They begin to flash in a random stream of colors in time with music that starts to play over the speakers. Each room a different song from a different culture. All of them something worth dancing to.

Teek frowned and called to her bar tender as she walked up on him. “What’s going on? I don’t recall the music being set to this so early.” She glanced at the time piece behind the bar. Something wasn’t right.

“I don’t know, Teek… it just… started.” The poor man looked worried and shook his head in confusion.

“No worries, Donovan… just making sure. Make sure your stick is at the ready. I’m going in back to check it out.” The woman smiled to patrons as they rose up like a party had been announced and started to dance to the unexpected music. Behind the smile, though, Teek was concerned. ‘What was happening?’

A thorough examination of the dance music controls would find them stuck in boogie woogie time. Let the early morning patrons get down with themselves and catch that disco-fever. Or, you know, given the time of day be annoyed with the way things are going. The volume is stuck at 11 after all. There is no hiding the good times the Mystique is offering right now.

Teek tried to get the machine to shut down, to no avail. Growling under her breath, she shook her head, hands in the air as she professed her loss of what to do.
As things stood, nothing seemed wrong with what was occurring. She decided, for now anyway, she would just let it go. But she made sure that it didn’t get out of hand.

A few moments later, Marines arrived and Teek went to greet them. “Glad you guys are here. I can’t figure out what’s happening to my systems. Can’t seem to adjust or turn off anything.”

The Marine in charge of this section began helping Teek get everyone out of the club. With everything happening, she didn’t even both to collect credits. Whatever was happening now was a lot more important that some creds.

Kelly kept monitoring the evacs and kept in touch with each section. When the CO came back, she had a running log going for quick catch up on the situation.
