Moving through the hatch from Operations, Avalise moved cautiously, making sure one hand was gripping a structure and the other her kit. It was awkward and uncomfortable, but it made sure she couldn’t float away should the gravity issues extend past Operations. Did it? Or would she have some luck on her way to the computer cores?Lt. Oh this little predicament is anything but easy. Every time poor Avalise crosses a threshold of some sort the gravity will fluctuate drastically, but generally falls into one of three states: normal, none, heavy. Atmosphere is pretty much normal all through out, but it does get hot and cold as she moves, frozen tundra and tropical jungle.

Avalise cursed under her breath as she crossed yet another section. She had started on Deck Two and only had to get to Deck Twenty-Two after all. No big deal at all. grumbling to herself, she kept moving, trying to not think about how much her knees would be hurting when this was all said and done. At least the ladders towards the centre of the station allowed her to mostly do straight down to her destination.
The worst part was probably the heavy gravity, since it was so much more tiring. She could mostly manage the weightlessness because she could very carefully use momentum to ‘float’ downwards, keeping care to have a hand on something at all times just in case conditions changed on her suddenly. But she was focused on getting to the computer cores and there was nothing she could do about the changing environmental conditions other than curse and keep going.

And in time she does make her way to the cores. They are running super hot, blinking lights all over the place as the environmental systems are struggling to keep everything going through the cascading failures.

Cursing under her breath, Avalise wondered about the effort to bring cooling units in her but discarded that as an impractical option at this particular second. “Alright, let’s see what happens,” she said as she started to work quickly.
After implementing her authorization code, she prepared to shut down the primary core, but knew she should prep everyone first. =/\= Rendana to Ops. I’m ready to shut down the Primary Core and boot up the Secondary. Permission to proceed.=/\=

Taking a deep breath, Avalise entered the codes and initiated a full system reboot.
