Teek nodded with sympathy and topped the man’s glass off. “Of course you did. You didn’t have a choice. And after all, what harm could such simple orders do? Right? I mean… If you tell me what orders you followed, I’d certainly reassure you that they had NOTHING to do with what’s happening. And we’ll just sit it out with great drinks and loud music.” She laughed and took another sip of own drink to appear as laid back and jovial as she could.

Mord nodded along with Teek, vision having blurred slightly, “Simple. Just had to dock with a ship and pop! The code would just scoot on over.” The man motioned with his hands in a grand fashion as he described the process, “Don’t know much more than that. Just did what I was asked to save my hide.” He looked around before he added to Teek, she having won his trust her, “I was just stopping here to get some fuel.”

Teek nodded and patted his hand. “It’s all right… it happens.” She smiled. “Would you like some chocolate cake? With things being like they are, I can’t serve it to anyone else. No one’s here.” She laughed slightly and nodded to the kitchen. “I can give ya all you want. Then I’ll make sure you get fueled up and out of here before things go crazy.” She laughed and once more patted his hand, smiling.

Mord smiled at the touch and then nodded his head up and down in a vigorous motion. “Oh cake would be lovely. Do you know how long it has been since I have had cake? Good cake?” He paused as he looked over Teek’s eye and then cracked a grin, “I don’t think I have ever had -good- cake so maybe you will have a chance to make me change my opinion on it. Not my favorite desert you see.”

“Of course, good cake,” the woman smiled and patted his hand before standing up. “I made it myself. So I am sure I can change your mind.” She moved to the back room to make two slices of cake. She also took out a bottle of the same thing she had been pouring him and opened it. Moving to the cabinet, she pulled out some sleeping tabs she used to slip into patrons’ drinks when they were starting to get annoying. Taking out one and using a knife to break it in half, she then crushed it with the flat of the knife and dropped it into the bottle. In this low of a dose, it would make him drowsy and eventually after at least one full glass he would fall asleep. But it wasn’t so high a dose to cause medical issues.

Putting the bottle on the tray with both slices, she moved back into the main room. “Here we go,” she said, setting the bottle in the well below and taking up the nearly empty one to top her own glass with, leaving his practically empty. “Here is a piece of my famous cake.” She set his plate before him and smiled. It was a dark chocolate cake with a creamy frosting that wasn’t too sweet. She hoped he would ask for a top off on his drink as well as she sipped on hers and dug into the cake.

Sure enough Mord looked at his glass then back to Teek’s then back to his glass before he took a huge bite of the cake. He munched on it a few times, working the desert in his mouth a few times before swallowing. “Gosh. That is good cake but can I perhaps get a little more to drink to help wash it down? The frosting is sticking to the roof of my mouth you see and it is easier to swallow with a little bit of liquid.”

Assuming she slipped the drugged drink into his glass, Mord took a big gulp and smiled his thanks before he took another bite of cake and working it over between his teeth. “This -is- good cake though. Might have changed my mind on the whole market of cake.”

About then the station’s systems began their minute long recycle, loud music finally fading and a quiet settling over the bar.

Teek smiled and poured more from the bottle into his glass. “Well anytime you come in I will be happy to help you become a cake lover. Let me know before you depart and I’ll even see about some to go with you.” With the rate he was gulping the drink, after two glasses he would start to feel sleepy. With the loss of the sound and chaos of lights, the ability to silence the club would aid in the sleepiness feeling with the sudden loss off stimulus.

Aaaaand thump. After that second glass the the poor hapless man fell forward smacking his head on the edge of the bar and then bounding backwards laying passed out on his back, snoring softly as the booze, pills, and blunt-force trauma did their worst.

Teek sighed. She hadn’t planned on him landing on his back on the floor. She moved around the counter to check for pulse and head injury besides the lumps he’d have on his forehead and where he landed on the floor.

She then tapped her badge. =^= Security and medical to Mystique Club. Got someone you guys want.=^=

She stood up and looked around. Not seeing anything nearby she once more sighed and slid off her jacket, moving her comm badge to her tunic top. She then used it to bond his arms together in his chest. Whatever else he was, she doubted ‘dangerous’ was one of them. But she certainly want talking a chance.

=^=Sickbay– On our way.=^= Nisihe’s voice chirped through the comms, before disappearing.

Several minutes later, Odraavi made her way into the Mystique, a medical kit in her left hand as she bumbled over, as quickly as her short legs could manage. “What’s happened to him, Teek?” She inquired, pulling out a tricorder to scan the man for any injuries below the surface.
