Several minutes later, Odraavi made her way into the Mystique, a medical kit in her left hand as she bumbled over, as quickly as her short legs could manage. “What’s happened to him, Teek?” She inquired, pulling out a tricorder to scan the man for any injuries below the surface.

Teek smiled and patted the Doc’s arm. “Well, we were talking after the lock down and he said he was responsible for it. Something about doing someone elses’ bidding when he got here. So I figured this was best way to turn him over without a fight. Bit of sleeping powder in the drink,” she motioned to the bottle on the counter. “Nothing serious, but he fell forward, then slid backwards before I could catch him from other side of the counter. Sorry, hun…”

“You know, I have to congratulate you on your thinking, Teek’ma.” Nisihe held her amusement behind a partial smile, her concern for the man evident upon her mind, but she chose not to show it. “I’d assume we’re looking at blunt-force trauma– likely the result of him slamming his head against the counter. Don’t be sorry, you did what you could.”

=^= This is Harris with Starbase Security I’m on my way.=^= Braxton quickly arrived moments later with a couple more of Security officers. He sees the man being attended too by the Doctor. Braxton motions his team to secure the night club so he can conduct a thorough investigation. He waited his turn to speak with Teek since Doctor Odraavi arrived first.

Harria, Security

As security showed up, Teek stood up to address the man who appeared in charge. “I’m guessing you are Harris? Well I am Teek’ma. This man confessed that the gravity and computer errors are his fault in a round about way. Something about meeting someone and then flipping switches when he got here. I slipped some sleeping powder into the drink. Unfortunately, he fell backwards off the stool. Sorry.” She shrugged as she crossed her arms.

Dr. Odraavi
CMO

Mord, bless his soul, snored away as Security and Medical worked around him. Seemed Teek got a little heavy handed with the powder, or maybe he was just overly susceptible but he was out. Bound by a coat and sleeping like a baby.

His cloths smelled of stale sweat, like he had been cooped up on a ship by himself for some time, which is to be expected. Otherwise he was perfectly able to be manipulated by anyone. Short of extreme pain he probably wasn’t waking up any time soon.

Braxton nodded at the manager “I believe we met before. Great job Teek. Anyway, did he mentioned anything else prior to being incapacitated.?”

Harris

Teek shook her head. “No… he just said he was supposed to throw some switches. I honestly hadn’t been paying close attention till he said he felt like it may be his fault. Sorry I didn’t get more, Sir.” She smiled but it wasn’t very bright. She should have done better and was mentally kicking herself for now doing so.

After assessing the situation Braxton made the call to Ops =^= Harris to Ops. We have an individual at the Mystique Club who confessed to cutting power and gravity aboard the starbase along with an accomplice help. Dr. Odraavi is checking him out before I transport him to the brig for interrogation=^= Braxton looking at the CMO “doc is it safe to transport him to a holding cell?”

Harris

“Yes,” The doctor responded, subsequently. “He is not showing signs of severe injury, beyond the bump that is going to be left behind on that there head of his.”

Teek let out a sigh and almost collapsed into the nearest chair. “Oh thank the nebula…” she half murmured. She had been worried she had seriously hurt the man. Glancing back up at Harris, she spoke louder. “I get the feeling he was coerced or at least lied to. He was already working towards drunk with remorse when he spoke out. I don’t believe he honestly knew how bad it would be.” She knew it wasn’t an excuse, but she did hope Harris and his men would go easy on the guy. Without his confession, the core of the trouble would have taken forever to discover.
