Max was just starting to feel settled in his new sickbay. His comfort with Magellan increasing with every moment he spent around the familiar sights and sounds of the clinic. It wasn’t long, of course, before he received a tap on the shoulder and a gentle reminder that he had neglected his check-in with the CDO. Thus, Max had a break from his newly assigned duties to tend to that requirement.
Max always felt a bit off whenever outside of sickbay during a shift. Like a kid skipping school. There was a vague feeling that he actually was supposed to be somewhere, sickbay as it were, but was out gallivanting instead. Max, of course, knew this was incorrect. Just a slight bit of anxiety he had dealt with his whole life through meditation and art and working hard in school and now as a fully credentialed physician.
As he approached the CDO’s office and chimed the door to alert the occupant of his presence he shifted a bit and adjusted his uniform tunic. It was more of a fidget than a necessary adjustment as was the shifting of his PaDD and a few other small items from one hand to the other.
