“I haven’t recognized anyone yet, but it’s hard to say. Were either of you able to get any visual scans that we could upload to the computer? Have them check the Starfleet database to see if it matches anyone?”

LtCmdr Foley - XO

Mike was still working on a program he was writing to help figure things out and what these ghosts if they were ghosts were doing.

Lt. Mike Knight (CE)

Braxton spoke up “I was able to scan them in the Blue Note. It went through myself and a civilian and then went through the walls afterwards.”

Harris, CoS

“Do you have the scans on you? I can get them loaded into the computer and see what the scanners can pick up. Though Captain,” he said turning towards Ben. “I will need to move down to one of the science labs to better configure the sensors.”

LtCmdr Foley - XO

“Ofcourse,” Ben agreed.

As a quick recap: The scan’s garnered from the Blue note were of Mia’s husband, who was in exactly the same condition she left him. Other scans throughout the station reported random pop ups of cold spots in isolated and non-isolated parts of the Magellan. Ultimately there was no rhyme or reason why some popped up and others didn’t.

“Yes Sir.” Braxton handed over the PaDD to Foley. Braxton continued with his report “initial scans were of Miss Salazar husband’s Nick.”

Ben sipped his coffee as he waited for Harris to continue. Ben was unsure of the relevance of this information without some context…

Aaron had a perplexed look on his face. “What does her husband have to do with these appearances?” he asked as he took the PADD.

Mike have completed the prototype for the program he was writing. With any luck it will scan every time a presence appears do deep scans and note the time and date. “Well I am done writing the new program just need the green light to upload this into the stations computer”

Lt. Mike Knight (CE)

The surprises just kept coming. “Let me get this right. You came up with a program to scan for the appearances based upon one tricorder scan, and wrote it in, I don’t know, 5 minutes? Here in the Briefing Room?

“Don’t get me wrong, that saves us time here, but that almost seems to good to be true. What variables are you using to determine if we are seeing a new apparition? How often is it scanning the Starbase for new appearances? And what sort of scans is it doing when one is detected?”

LtCmdr Foley - XO

OCC: What part of prototype don’t you understand

Mike looked at him “just a prototype by using the temperature dropped as a point to start scanning. with all the Properties where the entities start showing. after a few scans with the program we can start narrowing down the parameters to see what all happens for these and fees to show but mainly the temperature drops”

Lt. Mike Knight (CE)

“Make it happen,” Ben said firnly, “We need to establish what danger, if any the visitors present. I’m going to search for similar incidents that have been logged elsewhere, that is unless any of you are aware of anything?”

-Ben

OOC: The part where you didn’t say prototype out loud in character. Also please double check punctuation and capitalization, I think you are missing a few in there.

IC:
Aaron was still skeptical of the program, but they didn’t exactly have other options right now.

He turned towards the Captain. “Not off hand Captain. But hopefully with the scans will help give us some more insight into what exactly we are dealing with. If I may Captain.”

LtCmdr Foley - XO

“I don’t know what the appearance of Miss Salazar’s husband means. I see no reason for them to be expelled from the station. They haven’t been causing havoc across the station by interfering with operations. For all we know they could be sentient and trying to communicate through visual cues instead of auditory.”

Harris, CoS
