“Plot a course for the Ambassador class ship,” Nevin said, “Raise shields.”

He returned to his place and sat again in the centre seat awaiting the CO’s arrival.

Peter stood up, giving Captain Nakuto a brief nod before calling out “Yellow alert” He spoke firmly Executing the XO’s orders before he looked at Luna “Please send someone to check on the Captain in her quarters, we may be having problems either with the internal Comms or Lift systems” He turned to the Bajoran Commander opened his mouth but closed it almost immediately, sitting down once more on his left and leaned in “I’ve been in a constant state of dread since we got this mission and it’s growing the closer we get to our destination. I’m getting the impression from the rest of the crew that the feeling isn’t just paranoia” He whispered slowly, in a steady and calm voice “I recommend that we send whatever Civilians we have and secure them in the Mess Hall until further notice. To keep them from wandering and doubling on no one being alone” He started leaning back before stopping himself “Who did you assign to watch over Young Antos?” He asked wanting to get this done before they’d arrive at their destination.

“ just a moment sir” Luna said then buzzed herself sending a general call to sacuruty staff to check the captains Quarters for her.” The message is sent sir I’ll send I’ll let you know as soon as I here something” Luna said.
Ensign Luna

Viktoryia’s voice Trimbled as she finally make contact with the bridge =/\= sorry for the delay Commander I’m on my way=/\= as she turned to leave the thunderdome she turned to the other occupants. Those on the bridge would hear as she finally caught her breath=/\=get him to sickbay=/\=

A few minutes later Viktoryia stepped onto the bridge “what have we got Commander?”

Ravenfall, CO

As Ravenfall finally appeared on the bridge, Kara stood to attention and offered a salute as she formally, if somewhat redundantly, announced to all, “Captain on the bridge.”

Nevin rose relinquishing the centre seat to his CO. He moved over to stand infront of his own seat as the officers present completed their actions.

This was her first encounter with her new Commanding Officer. Her first glimpse of the woman who had taken her place. Nakuto watched the other closely, interested not only to see how she would perform under their current state of emergency but also, how the events that had led them here and the omnipresent weight of Viking command was affecting her.

Returning to the engineering station, the half-Klingon’s hands moved urgently across the nearest glowing panel.
“I am rerouting as much power as we can spare to the structural integrity fields,” she stated, the fear that their vessel was about to be torn apart almost tangible to the former engineer.

Kara Nakuto

Luna quietly sent an update to security that the captain had been found and was alright. She looked across the bridge to Kara.” Kara take a deep breath and try to stay calm. It’s hard to think straight when your agitated” Luna said with a smile.
Ensign Luna

Peter stood up as the Captain entered out of habit. He looked over at Kara as she appeared to be slightly nervous. It was odd seeing her like that, besides sitting in a work station and not the central chair. He turned to Captain Ravenfall “We’re approaching an Ambassador Class ship at the precipice of the Nebula. It’s a veritable graveyard out there.”

“I am fine, Luna,” Nakuto barked in reply, the tension in her voice hardening her words more than she had intended. Then more softly, she added, “I am…a little rusty on my bridge etiquette, is all.”

Glancing out into the room, her brown eyes connected first with Akorem and then Sigmundsson, a narrow smile offered to each in turn. She was surrounded by friends…so then why was she feeling crushed by the weight of close scrutiny? As if every man and woman present was watching her intently for the moment that she would break, when the trauma of the previous year would crash over her like a tsunami, drowning her in a flood of cowardice and tears.

Returning her attention to her own station, she silently keyed in a secret command to her fellow engineers.
=^=Erect a temporary forcefield around the warp core. And have an emercency response team on standby. Just in case.=^=

Kara Nakuto

“Thank you,” Nevin said to his officers before he addressed the Captain. He reported the initial findings and reported that a course was laid in for the Ambassador class vessel.

“All preparations are in place. We’re just waiting on your command,” Nevin advised.

-Akorem

The Ambassador class hung in space like a ghost. No running lights and no signs that life ever existed on the vessel at all giving it more of a creepy vibe. The forward section of the saucer drifted slowly until it broached the cloud and slowed the drift to a halt. The swirly cloud of energies and nebulae dust seemingly thick as gumbo clay mud. A whisper of a thought drifted into a few of the Bridge officers minds of finding valuable data if they went aboard the ship.

-GM

“ we are going to investigate that ship right.” Luna asked. Not really to anyone in particular. In fact the comment was more to heself then anyone else. She continued to monitor her station watching the scanners of any sine of threats.
Ensign Luna

The captain still hadn’t replied when Nevin felt the need to justify why he had selected to set course for the Ambassador class vessel.

“I believe that the computer core on the Ambassador ship will be the one most likely to contain useful information,” he said as though to prompt her to give the go ahead.

Despite Nevin’s thoughts, the decision was the Captain’s to make.

-Akorem

Peter nodded in agreement from his chair on the captains left. “It does appear to be the latest addition to that graveyard” Why he wanted to go on that ship went beyond him.
