Luna has been increasingly consurned about her doughter’s well being ever sence the child started talking about talking to shadows. There was also some strange insidint to go along with her refusal to go to bed at a decent time. She could not forget Loki’s sudden reaperince. “ we’re are we going mommy” Crenity asked. It took Luna a moment to release the Crenity had asked her a question.

“ you have to see the consuler you remember her right” Luna asked. The child smiled and nodded. Once they reached the consulers door Luna took a deep breath before ringing the chime. She had spoken to the consuler about evaluating Crenity and set up the appointment for the child long in advance. She just was not shure there was anything that could be done or found with her as young as she was .

Tired. It seemed always to he in fashion for the young Counselor. It was a state of mind for most, but a lifestyle for her. Unfortunately, the Counselor had not been in her office when the pair had arrived, and was actually in the mess hall, retrieving another cup of black coffee, adding to the unhealthy amount she already drank to keep herself sane. Heading back from the strange comfort of the dining hall, she caught sight of the small familial pair, a petite smile coming across her features.

“Why, hello there!” Tal grinned, mustering the amount of energy she tried to keep steady. It was a difficult task, but she knew it to be easier than trying to explain drowsiness. “I do apologize if I have kept you waiting– I had no idea you were coming..” Steping to the door, she watched as it slid open, gesturing for the two to go inside before she did. “I trust everything is all right?” She inquired.

Luna entires the room. “ it’s alright unfortunately everything is not ok” Luna said a bit darkly.
Crenity giggled and flew into the room. Luna faces the consuler and smiled. “ Im concerned about Crenity’s she has started talking about shadows as if there living entity’s. And her father returned with the captain . I was hoping you could do a phycalogical evaluation on her.” Luna said. Luna seamed almost panicked.
“ but the shadow are real money that’s how daddy came back” Crenity insisted. She landed right between Luna and the consuler. “ You don’t believe me, I want daddy. Daddy would believe me ” Crenity screamed at her. Luna took a step backwards a bit shocked by the child’s sudden anger. She did not know what to do.
Ensign Luna

“There, there..” Tal smiled over at the two of them, before focussing strictly on the young girl. “Why don’t you don’t sit down and explain to me these shadows,” Her voice was soft, amiable to the girl before her. “I would love to hear what you see and what you think of them.” She offered a hand to Crenity, in hopes of estabilishing a calm, secure relationship between them. That way, their conversation would be light and hopeful towards answers regarding her condition. However, Tal could not work with a patient in such a state, if they could not trust each other. “Elphaba,” She gestured to the guinea pig, “Could sit with you, while you explain, eh? What do you say? Will you give it a shot for me?”

Luna smiled at the consuler.” Thank you I’ll waght outside” Luna said. She felt her presence was only going to agrivat her doughter more. The child smiled at her and held Beveres’ hand. “ some of them are monsters they want to eat the people on the ship that’s what they tryed to to do daddy. Others were people who were part of the ship” Crenity said with a smile. She looked at Elphaba she carfuly reached out to pet the small animal. “ why doesn’t mommy believe me? Ever sence daddy has come back mommy has been not happy why?” Crenity asked.
Ensign Luna

“Sometimes it is rough for the grownups to get used to other grownups coming back.” Tal smiled down to the child, watching as Elphaba let out an almost chirpish sound, pleased to be stroked by the young girl. “It is kind of like your best friend coming back, after so long of being gone. Wouldn’t you feel a bit weird?” She asked, before adding. “Do you have a best friend, Crenity?” She inquired, choosing to ask calmer questions, before she got into the whole ordeal of the monsters this child was facing.

“ I have mommy and daddy and Luner are owl. Mommy says I’m to young for school I have to waght until I’m this meny” she said holding up five fingered. She had not quite figured out how to say numbers yet. She opened her wings then closed them. “ why do mommy and I have wings and daddy dose not? Also why do the shadows keep saying I look tasty” she said.
Crenity

“Five years old? Really! That will come and go before ya know it! Are you excited?” She smiled with mild excitement. “Your mommy is of a different kind of person than your daddy is. But, that doesn’t stop them from being able to be together.” She smiled, explaining as simply as she could without scaring the poor child. “Tasty? What else do the shadows tell you, sweetie?” She asked, carefully.

“ yas It sounds fun” she said flapping her wings and hubereding a foot or two off the ground before settling back down. “ but mommy and daddy are both human atlest I think that’s was mommy called us” she said confused. She was definitely a bit fast then other children in her age group.

“Just because they are both human, doesn’t mean they cannot look different.” She hummed, offering a smile to the smaller girl.

She thought for a moment. “ they talk about how people are tasty and how they wnant to take over the ship. But there finding the people currently onboard to stubborn or strong to eat” she said.
Crenity

“Have they tried.. Going after any of these people? Have they told you about their little adventures, at all?” She asked, phrasing things calmly and gentle.

Lt. Beveres
CNS

“ they went after daddy and I think mommy called her captain. They treated to eat them but they were to tuff to eat. They said captain was to strong willed and daddy loved mommy and me to much to be eaten easily” she said.
Crenity

“I see.. Well.. I don’t believe you have anything to worry about, Crenity. You are a strong little girl, and these shadows cannot do anything to you. Your father obviously loves you, so I don’t think you’re going to he at any risk with him around.” Tal hummed, softly. “Do they scare you? These shadows?”

Lt. Beveres

“ sometimes but they won’t come after me I don’t know why.” She said then glared at the corner of the room behind the consuler. “ go away” Crenity screeched sodnly. She put her hand over her ears and scream again.
Crenity.

“Oh!” She rushed forwards, wrapping her arms around the girl, as to secure her in a fashion meant to be protective. It was her first instinct. “What is it, Crenity?” She asked, “Shh.. It’s okay,” She gently tried to run her hand through her hair. “I’m here, Crenity, it’s okay..”

“ it want to take mommy and daddy and everyone away” she cryed. She was very anxious and frightened about this information. She continued to cry “ I love mommy and daddy I don’t want them to leave me” she whimpered.
Crenity

“They’re not going to leave you, sweetheart,” The woman held her close, continuing to delicately stroke her hair, in effort to soothe her. “We’re going to find a way to stop this, okay? Nobody is going to get your mommy and daddy.”

Lt. Beveres

“ how they already took daddy once. And Iv seen them atack people” she cryed. She did start to calm down. How the shadows monster she had yealed at had disappeared. “ you can’t see them” she said almost as if it were more of a question then a statement. “ why don’t anyone else see them” she added.
Crenity

“I don’t know, Crenity.” She would not lie to the child, believing in her heart of hearts that lying to her was only penalizing her, “But we will find out. Okay?” She smiled. “I’m going to have sickbay run a few tests, okay? That way, we can understand why you’re seeing these shadows. Does that sound good?”
