Using her tricorder T’Shura led Luna toward the Engineering section taking careful note of anything unusual on their way there.

The way to Engineering was long and slow without the use of turbo-lifts. All the corridors were darkened, or had lighting issues with flickering sections. A low howl from something echoed through a corridor somewhere on Deck 12. Two decks above Engineering the halls seemed to get darker. Sections of the the entire deck were shrouded in pitch black darkness. The air in this section was stale, signifying that life support had not been working at peak efficiency on this level. Scorch marks lined one wall as the group passed though. The entire area emanated dread and fear. Almost as if the very halls had absorbed the fear of the former crew. As the group neared Engineering itself the darkness seemed to intensify even more.
Ahead of the group where the corridor was the darkest, a set of glowing yellow eyes peered from the darkness. Whatever the eyes belonged to gave a low growl like a hungry animal that had just spied it’s prey.
