“Only a donkey walks on ice twice…” Mike muttered to himself as he walked towards the Transporter room. “..we were suckered so many times already, we’re dumber then a donkey then.”The doors to the teleporters opened and he walked in. “Not this time.” The NE behind the console looked up, puzzled a bit, what Mike was talking about.
He was certain he’ll get the spare parts he needed for the ship, may it take whatever it takes. What would they do anyway, demote him. He only grined at the NE and asked. “How are out transporters holding up?” There was cargo and even people missing after teleportations, but they learned not to teleport too much at once and it’s fine. Most of the time.

Ensign Luna appeared behind LT. Mike with Crenity trailing behind her. “ are you shure thought transporters are safe LT.” Luna asked.
Crenity giggles with excitement. “ Iv never been off the Viking what is a space station like” she asked exactly.
Ensign Luna“I might be able to assist with that, Luna, Lieutenant Stone.” Reira stated as he enterd the room shortly after Luna and Crenity holding a black box under one arm which looked a little like a Borg Cube, it had the same design aesthetic with glowing green lights, function over form. “This is a new piece of technology I invented. It’s called the T3S, short for Transporter Save State System. It’s a sort of computer that attaches itself to the console over here.” He explained, doubtful that the transporter chief would take kindly to the Science Ensign bolting on bits of Borg Technology to the workstation but he left a note. “This increases transporter time by 4.3342 seconds but it saves a copy of our molecular patterns into itself, that way if the main transporter beam fails it switches in and completes transport.” He stated, placing it down as 3 tubules extended from the box and attached to the screen, interacting with it but leaving the LCARS Menu alone instead of turning it into Borg Alphanumerics like most technology he created did. “It can also operate the transporter system and I can operate it remotely with my implants. Observe.” Reira stated, stepping onto the transporterpad with the others, T3S activated and the transport began.

“Jesus, Akaba, a little more warning before you do something like that.” Mike said in a surprise, as they materialized on the station.
So far transporters were tested with three people max, and they haven’t lost anyone. Although Crenity was just a child, 4 people just beamed. Mike couldn’t tell though if they were just lucky or of Reira Akaba’s device worked.
“Did you test this before or was this the first time? I’m interested in learning a bit more before we proceed. Does it work just on us organics, or are other materials, specificly metal also safeguarded. Any idea how much information it can save? I have a feeling we’ll get to field test very soon.”
