Lance was looking for something in his med kit “I have a hypo spray to wake her up but I feel like it will be better for her to rest” lance went back to putting his kit away with his (Hellsing gear) away.

He then looked at Kristi “Some one looks nice” he said with a smile.

Lance Von Hellsing (Helm)

She held her hand up as he mentioned the hypo spray. “No, let her wake up on her own. But if she doesn’t wake soon, I’m calling medical.”

As he turned to her and gave her a compliment, she shifted in embarrassment. “I… thank you…” He had avoided responding to her comments about the shifting episode on the bridge, as well as the ‘body hunt’ afterwards. Perhaps it wasn’t something he thought much of, or even cared to. Realizing she was being a bit foolish now, she glanced around and decided that coming here had been a mistake. “I should, I should go let medical know what happened. I mean… even if she wakes up, she’s gonna need to see the Doc, I am sure… Right?” She was at a loss, now. The unconscious habit of biting her lip when nervous came back as she flexed her fingers in anxiousness then slid her bottom lip between her teeth.

“Ummm.... I should go. I am sure you need rest as well. I mean, to see to the Councilor.” She turned back to the unconscious woman and headed for her to check her pulse once more. To get to the door, she had to get within arm’s reach of Lance. Suddenly, she wasn’t sure that wasn’t such a good idea.

In both cases, her pulse had been faint. By the gentle beat of a tired heart, it reflected the drowsiness that had washed over her. Her body, although eeriely still, didn’t show signs of physical damage.. upon first glance. The ghoul had been gracious in its sinister variation of anything close to a moral compass.

In her stability, however, there was something slightly off. Her eyes. Despite being closed, there were faint albeit quick movements beneath the eyelid. As if she were dreaming or experiencing a nightmare. But the lack of movement made it hard to determine which.

Lance looked at her and said “ family we are know as monster hunters the killer of Count Dracula. So it was my 15 Brith day my father took me with him. The hunt was a Den of werewolf’s that we’re feeding from this small towns livestock. I was attacked from above me and was Bitten. Ny own father Tried to shoot me with a silver bullet. My first ever change was very hard and difficult on my body but unfortunately I was the only one who survived that night. My family won’t even look at me so I knew it was only time until they hunted me so I join Starfleet and left” lance had a hard time talking about his past He was not a custom to letting people in.

Kristi frowned as she watched the swiftness of the Lieutenant’s eye movement. Automatically she set her hand on the woman’s arm. “Ssshhhh.... easy… easy....” She wasn’t sure if the woman could hear her or not, but it was something she did to her young charges when she used to babysit when she was younger. It seemed to help then, and she hoped it helped now.

Hearing Lance speak up gave her pause. “I am sorry about what happened to you, Lance. Honest I am.” She leaned back against the edge of the couch. Her sigh was audible. She was caught, unsure what to do or how to respond. “I don’t understand what happened that day on the bridge. I just know you didn’t deserve to be shot because of what appeared to be an automatic reaction to the carnage.” She crossed her arms as if trying to protect herself but she glanced back down at Beveres. She shook her head and bit her lip. “I don’t know what to do, Lance.” Her words had to do with everything… with her dreams, her knowledge, and the Councilor’s state.

She looked back up at him. “We should contact medical. Let them look her over. If you promise to do that, I’ll let you tell them whatever you want. I don’t know the truth so I won’t say anything.” She hoped he would see past her right now and focus on the woman who appeared to be getting more restless, despite the almost death stillness of her body. It was a bit unnerving to Kristi.
