“My being here to check on Antos’ safety is possibly part of his plan and I’m fairly sure he will have anticipated your response to my being here,” Junior said, “And if he wants to talk he’ll show himself sooner or later.”
He held his hands forward with his wrists together as thoufh ready to be cuffed.
“The ball is in your court,” he said.

Peter looked down at his wrists and raised an eyebrow “When I said coming here was a risk to you being arrested I didn’t mean because I would do so” He informed the man quietly. He’d gathered more intelligence regarding this operation than he thought he could have. Things were becoming clearer, at least in the regards to Junior and the younger McHarrie working together. Peter’s first officer was somehow still connected to Mcharrie the Elder. Now understanding Juniors connection with Akorem’s child Peter could now show his hand. If that played badly he would just have to find a way to dump a body… “But seeing as you’ve managed to delay my boredom I won’t revert to my original plan” He smiled joylessly “Just one final question before I decide what to do with you.” He let the pause hang in the air “What is John McHarries role in all this. His real role that is, not playing possum as your fake hostage?” He asked casually as if it was already a prestablished fact.

“His role was the bate, ” Junior replied non-committally, “For what I require from you he serves as… incentive. If you want to call that a hostage, then I s’pose you could.”

“But he isn’t” He stated matter-of-factly “In fact, I’m fairly certain that the two of you are working together, to what end I’m not certain. Most probably to go after Mcharrie Senior.” He watched the man carefully for any changes.

IC: “James’ official record shows he died on the bridge of this ship. I know that not to be true. John’s record of the post mortem and the surveillance footage from the bridge have all been classified. John cannot access his own notes of the incident, so that tells me that there is something to hide.”
Junior folded his arms, “You find me James, and you get John. Safe and unharmed as agreed.”

Peter put his head down in resignation “Fine, I’ll find your Operative uncle who is presumed dead and whose death was probably covered up by his organization. People that don’t leave trails.” His left hand twitched slightly but with significant effort, he did not draw “You need to decide what you want, do you want James or do you want your life back?” He moved closer and looked down at the man “But the moment this risks any member of this crew I will end this, John or no John”
