NE Frank was having a really boring shift so far, all he had done was plot in a course to the Vaila colony. They were still an hour away from arriving and this area of space seemed to be inordinately boring so he found his mind beginning to wander. He’d heard of a new holodeck programme where you can visit an Orion palace which he was very keen to try. He started day dreaming about beautiful Orion girls dancing when the comm line chirped. He let out a little squeak of surprise before quickly clearing his throat. “Um, apologies Captain, incomming message from Vaila…” he gulped, praying that he hadn’t just been caught sleeping on the job.

<Ravenfall>

A haggered and exhausted looking Admiral appeared on the screen in front of them. =^= Captain Ravenfall I presume? =^= he asked as he rubbed the back of his neck which was starting to stiffen up with stress.

Mother Hen (GM)

Ensign Luna happened to be on duty at the security station. She watched the Admiral carfuly. She had trust issues with such high ranking individuals. She eventually turned her attention to her scanners looking out of any threats.

Peter looked from the Screen to the Captain on his right and then back to the Screen. He hadn’t expected for them to be called by an Admiral at this time. An odd occurrence indeed. He wondered if taking secondary Bridge duties right now had been the correct choice.

CIO

Nevin rose from his seat as a sign of respect for the Admiral before him, but remained silent. It was the Captain the he had addressed. Nevin knew a few of the admirals that were dotted around the Infinite Fleet’s patch, but did not recognise this one. The man clearly looked stressed, but nevin wasn’t sure if this was ‘normal’ for him…
