Skugras walked into what apparently was his new fiefdom. Sickbay looked to be in order. Though it also seemed to be empty of on duty personel. That concerned him as sickbay was never supposed to be empty like this. He made his way to a biobed and checked it’s use logs. As he touched the controls there was a noise Starfleet used to indicate a Hologram had just appeared. “Please stat the nature of the medical Emergency.”, Skugras turned to face the EMH. It was a Mark 2 so good looking personable and polite to a fault. Another inovation that Star Fleet had enacted without asking the Tellerites opinion.
Skugras sneered at it, “Medicine is not for coddling people. Sick bay is not a polite dinner party. The crew should not ever want to come to sick bay seeking comfort for scrapes and bruises.”, Skugras had gone into medicine not to serve the ailing population. But more to figure out just how those people had died and to make their corpses presentable for those they left behind. A hard job considering the Vikings Transporters had a habbit of turning people inside out, into a pile of goo or just not actually materializing them fully.
“Step one. You EMH are just too pretty. Reconfigure yourself to look like a Mark 1 EMH. “, Skugras said as he entered his authorization and comands into the counsol.
The EMH looked startled as it transformed, “Now wait just a minute.”, The EMH said in some alarm,
Skugras grunted. “Modify the voice to be unpleasent and graring on the ear and and overlay a Tellrite personality”, Skugras snapped back at it as he input exactly those changes.
The EMH was speechless for half a minute before it said. “This is a flagrent violation of my person!.”, in a shrill tone.
Skugras blinked at it, “You are not a person you are a computer controlled fabrication of a person designed to mimic the behavior of a person. As such you have no rights except to follow your programing. While there is one Holographic being who is considered alive, You have the misfortune to be under my command and I would argue that to be alive you can not be a machine created by people. Save changes and overlay these changes over any attempt to restore the EMH to default settings. You will not refer to yourself as doctor but As Emergency holographic Medical assistant. You may have medical knowledge and skill but you did not earn the right to the title. You were gifted that by your programmer. From now on you are Ehma.”, and to avoid the over use that had created the so call sentient hologram he set in place a function that would shut the Ehma down as soon as it had no medical task to perform.

As the E. H. M. A. Shut itself off he found a mirror and looked himself over. “As the only Doctor on the ship I declare myself medically fit for duty.”

Lt. Skugras Krongras. CMO.

Luna has been on her rounds and heard the commotion from sickbay. She entered with her phaser raised. As she come to within view of the CMO she opened her witw and black spotted wings her slightly and settled into a low combative stance. The stance she chose let her get into the air three seconds faster. Witch would give her an advantage. Other then her wings she appeared human in fact if she did not have wings the blonde ensign would seam to fragile to be a security officer. “What is going on in her. Who are you” she said.
Ensign Luna

Davids eyes peeked open from one of the biobeds behind the other Doctor, wondering what the heck was going on. He had fallen asleep for a fair few moments before the EMH’s indignence had woken him up.

Skongras turned and blinked at what he assumed was a phaser brandishing sdcurity officer, He was of course short and stocky like all Tellerites, he was bald with what might be called liverspots on his scalp. Whisps of grey ear hairs could be seen. He wore a labcoat over a blue tunic. “It is my understanding that pointing weapons at senior officers is a breech of proper Star Fleet protocal.”, he stated matter of factly once he recovered enough to speak. He looked her up and down unfamiliar with her species. He went over the options in his head. He was too old to get aggressive at 54 years. So he chose talking, “Ensign I am apparently suddenly the only doctor on this ship and have the dubious honor of being the first person drafted into Star Fleet against their will to be placed in the position of Chief Medical officer on this ship. Now you might get hurt at some point and then you would end up helpless at my mercy. I will remember that you held me at at phaser point. Now if you put that weapon away I might even treat you properly. But if you continue to threaten me You may end up with your an nus and your reproductive organs in reversed locations. Assuming you are constructed in a manner simular to most huminoids to start with and they aren’t already reversed.”, he said and continued to look the Ensign over intently.

LT. Skongras Kronkiv. CMO

David coughed quietly from behind one of the biobeds, skillfully hiding the chuckled he desperatly wanted to release in his amusement at the mans error. The man had obviously mistaken him for a patient. With his gaunt apperance and the fact that David had been sleeping on one of the biobeds when the supposed new CMO had come it, it didn’t surprise David that this man had made that mistake. Despite his tell-tale blue uniform the majority of officers mistook him for a patient as opposed to one of the few doctors aboard the Viking. That was a forgivable err in judgement, but to threaten Luna… there weren’t many man brave enough to do that, especially over a small misunderstanding. The CMO had been making enough noise to raise the dead. The real crime was that David’s first sleep in many weeks had to be interrupted in such a manner.

Shaking his head to himself, Harrington collected his medical scanner from where he had left it when he’d decided to try take a nap. May as well get back to work he thought to himself as he shuffled forward, since I’m already awake. Starting with giving this new Dr a proper medical exam. Luna, he knew could handle herself, so he’d leave the situation to her.
