Nevin began climbing the stair case. As he did so he cpuld be seen taking out his side arm, checking the setting before re-holstering the weapon.

Were Nevin spotted doing this by any of the officers, this would seem very unusual, especially given where he was heading…

-Akorem

OOC: I’ll leave it to you guys whether your character noticed Nevin’s actions or not :)

-Jim

Lucas was not paying attention to the XO’s departure. He was still focused on the Captain and the little girl hiding coquettishly behind her while providing the briefing.

Peter, who was following the XO, noticed the action but said nothing. He tapped his own Sidearm to see if it was there out of habit and then loosened his Jacket and reached inside it, feeling the handle of his throwing knives attached to his chest, six in total three on each side. He had planned to simply go as ordered to investigate the past of the Colony but decided to quietly follow the Commander.

It didn’t take long for to reach the Admiral’s office. When he got there he simply entered without knocking or waiting for consent. Nevin had been so focused on getting there and had not seen the CIO following.

He approached the Admiral’s desk and leaned heavily over it with both arms so as to intrude on the Admiral’s personal space.

“What are you covering up? What was in the caves?” Nevin demanded.

-Akorem

Peter took a position just outside the door where he could monitor the hall and the conversation. Although he didn’t trust the Bajoran as far as… well as far as Akorem could throw Peter was an apter analogy than the other way around as he was fairly certain he could toss the first officer a decent distance. Despite that lack of trust he was still going to have his back until he could learn more about what the mystery surrounding the man was.
