The conversation between the doctors was partially amusing to the interim security chief. While she had known Stein very little save for an ocassional passing comment, she knew SEAl. And watching the two made her wonder who she would bet on in a fair fight. The distinction being that SEAl, being an AI, would most certainly be able to overpower the other Doctor.

As Stein lifted and dropped Ravenfall’s arm like a limp rag doll, the smile faltered on Kalika’s face. With her hands crossed behind her against the wall, she balled her fists to control the desire to walk over and shove the man away from her Captain. Seeing Viktoryia’s used in such a way tore at the Orion’s heart. This was the second Captain she had on the ship. A ship that had saved her life. She had lost Kara, she wouldn’t lost Vik.

Kalika slid her bottom lip between her teeth and waited to see if Vik would wake soon. Questions aside, she was more interested in reassuring the woman she was back… and safe.

As the doctor lifted her arm Viktoryia’s eyes shot open, and in a split second, she had pulled her arm from the doctors and lunged at the closest person that she saw. For just a moment she was back in the cargo bay fighting a Klingon for the very first time.

She found her mark as she lifted the engineering officer off of the ground. Her grip slowly tightened around the young woman’s throat as her strength reached maximum. For a brief moment she stared deeply into the young woman’s eyes before flinging her across sickbay.

Kaylia looked a bit surprised. Damn, Viktoryia has about if not maybe more strength than she did. That or it was fueled by her unique blood. Looking back into Vik’s eyes. Though there was a gasp when she was flung across the sickbay. Slamming hard into the bulkhead. Dropping to the deck, Kaylia tried to push up to stand, then fell over. There was going to be some bruising around her throat as well as some bruising on her back, though those would heal reletively fast. Maybe two days to fully heal.

Kalika had barely exhaled when Ravenfall lunged. She was too far away to protect the engineer but the Captain had to be restrained. “HELP HER!” She yelled at the two doctors and waved her arm towards the engineer who was now laying on the floor a ways away. “CAPTAIN....” the Orion rushed towards her and prayed when she got there that Stein would be with the thrown crewman. What she was about to do would most ‘certainly’ affect him if he was too close. She grabbed at Vik with all her strength and tried to force the woman to look at her. “Raven… Vik… it’s Kalika…” She took a deep breath and let herself open to the thing she had kept locked down inside her except under tightly controlled conditions. Her half Orion makeup meant she had the unique ability to release her pheromones at will. Since she and Vik were close, she hoped the chemical would at least seem deep enough into the Captain’s mind and body to give her pause so she could be controlled. If the Captain’s fear or rage was too overpowering, it wouldn’t affect her. But if there was a bit of the woman who was still in control, a gentle feeling of euphoria might reach her and calm her, even against her will.

She turned to make a move on the security officer but something happened as she did. A feeling of calm surrounded her as she began to focus on the present and what was going on around her. She looked over to Kalika “What happened?” She said.

SEAI walked over, starting scans on the Captain, “Well, I would say that you have a severe lack of sustenance, you almost attacked one of your crew, and one of my officers is an idiot.” She looked over to Stein, “Rule number one of my sickbay, you do not touch my patients unless I say so.” By this point, all of the other medical officers were staring at their chief in fear, remembering the last time someone interfered with her treatment. Jenkins was still in counseling for the incident.

“I am sorry, I wasn’t aware I wasn’t allowed to treat patients when you were shut off recharging from your strenuous time not doing anything productive,” Stein retorted. Death wish? Possibly. Defensive? Likely. Not a single quiver came from the dark eyes of the doctor.

Despite her anger started to take over, SEAI decided to focus on what was more important, namely, the Captain who at any moment could slip back into her coma, “Captain, as my scans are showing that you may relapse at any time, I would recommend not standing in the middle of a crowded sickbay where you could faint and hit your head.” What could happen did not need to be elaborated on.

SEAI (CMO)

As SEAI moved up, Kalika swiftly backpedaled and gave herself a bit over 6 to 7 feet of space from those in the room. She had used her natural defense to help get to the Captain, but it had an area affect. Anyone in a few feet of her would be subject to the pheromones she could exude. It had been automatic, something to calm the Captain. It hadn’t occurred to her that others could quickly be affected.

Reining her control tightly around herself once more, she cut it off so in a matter of minutes she would be safe enough to be close to once more. Till then, a small bit of it would linger around the Captain and in a small whiffed trail to where she now stood in the corner. With luck, the Doc would get Viktoryia back on the bed before she collapsed. Kalika would be no help to anyone for another few minutes. As an nurse came towards her because of quick scurry, asking if she was ok, the half Orion security officer held a hand up in warning. “Don’t come any closer. I need a couple minutes for it to wear off. The pheromones I mean… Please…” It wasn’t a whimpered plea, nor a growled command. It was more of a tired comment made by someone so used to the reactions around her going horribly wrong, that she was already bracing herself for it.

It was the first time she had used it on the ship since doing it for the Captain when they met.

He did take a step back at this moment before turning and eventually leaving mentioning something about Androids not knowing there elbow from their ear.

Dr. Stein, Medical

Viktoryia snapped her head toward the Android “your scans are faulty I am fine” she said as she looked over to where the engineering officer was “she needs your help more then I do”

The captain then turned her attention to her chief of security not caring of the warning the officer gave. She slowly approached her and spoke with a soft tone ” are you okay Kalika?” She asked as she stepped up beside her.

After a few minutes, and evidently all that discussion and more drama went on, without Kaylia even being checked on, she started to come around. Groaning and rolling over on to her back. “Its a good think I find you damned attractive, Captain…” said under her breath. Laying there for the moment.

OOC- Note, I missed the attack post on Kaylia earlier, even though it was talked about and approved. So there is one reply up in the top of the thread, and now this follow up one.
