Micha was on a mission. He’d been busy ensuring he was well within his power to do what he was about to do, and he was, so he was going to approach Astrid first. Walking up to her office, he rung the chime a couple of times in quick succession.Micha Thoran, Inquisitor
“Enter” a voice called out and once the doors hissed open the sound of Metal scraping on metal could be heard sitting at the captain’s desk was Astrid the rather buff Andorian woman she had her Ushan-tor out and was clearly Sharpening it “Inquisitor what can I do for you?” she asked “I hope that my Loyalty is not in question because as a member of the Black Guard you can be sure that my Loyalty is to the Empress now and forever” she not even looking up at Micha “Or would you like a reminder of what I did a few years ago on Andoria I love pulling that footage up so I wont mind if that is what you are after” she said clearly not even concerned that he might be investigating her

Micha chuckled, a rare sound from any inquisitor. “No need, Commander. I have…another…matter to speak with you about.” He took a breath before he continued, “Captain Kaldland isn’t performing as a captain worthy of his position.” Micha was bluntly honest, and this was no exception. “However, I don’t see it being worthy of death. I’m not sure if you’re aware of my scope of power, but I can remove him from command, assuming I have someone else worthy of the position to appoint.”
He let the unspoken offer hang in the air, reading Astrid’s body language.

She very quickly brought the Ushann-tor to Micha’s throat “You watch what you say about Gunnar Kaldland He is just as loyal if not more so than I, it was He who gave me the opportunity to become an officer of the Empire and I will not tolerate any bad word about him…” she said pressing the cold steel of the weapon against the skin of the human though not hard enough to do damage to the officer however it was clear her position when it came to the captain “But as it happens Captain Kaldland is being dispatched on a special assignment and I have already been given command of the Cerberus I am to remain at Commander rank however it seems this is the will of the Empress even and yet she does not feel that a Xeno deserves the rank of Captain to that end though I need someone to act as my First officer As inquisitor you are the first in line for the position So do you accept?” she asked as she pulled the weapon back slowly she sat back down and continued to sharpen her weapon as if nothing had happened
