Many volunteered for the mission, but only a select few were given the honor of being among the Cerberus’ first boarding party. Led by an inquisitor no less. Eager officers stood by a shuttle, waiting for the remainder of the team to arrive.-GM
Micha walked into the room, smirking at the hushed whispers. Inquisitors were a mysterious lot. Answering directly to the Empress was an immense honor, and due to their role, they were known to be very brutal. Unknowns about the training they went through were always causing rumors.

As the inquisitor entered, everyone’s attention turned in that direction. Sending an inquisitor meant that this was high priority and dangerous. They waited for the remaining officers to arrive and prepped for takeoff.
OOC: Anyone else for the away mission?

“Comms are connected on the shuttles and I will be monitoring communications as the away team board the enemy ship.” Jhene informed the Captain and the Inquisitor as a formality.

OOC: I’m going to guess that’s a no on anyone else joining the boarding party.
IC: The boarding shuttles took off and rocketed towards the ailing enemy vessel. The view from outside the Cerberus gave a true sense of the scale difference. This was a battleship against a glorified yacht, and it had never been a fair fight. Another easy victory for the empire.
The docking clamps sealed onto the enemy ship, and the doors slid open. On the other side were dark hallways, so far empty.
