Crystal settled at he computer continuing to research all she could on there current mission. She was not thrilled about it. Snowflake was asleep in his corner she shook her head she should be in bed however she was to focused on her work.

Crystal got up walked over to the door and opened it.” Can I help you” she asked the stranger on the other side.

Standing before her was a young Trill Officer. She seemed frazzled, scared even. Her body was shaking, but Crystal would recognize her as one of her marine Intel. “Major..”

“I..” The woman struggled to say what she was trying to. When she stepped into the light, however, there was an obvious discoloration to the skin around her eye. “Please help.. I was trying to help him and he just..”

Snowflake jumped up from his bed disturbed from his nap. He looked around before selling his attention on Kathy. “ Kathy breath tell me what happened I can’t do anything until I know what’s going on” crystal said calmly. She noted the discoloration. Could this have been some kind of domestic violence or had one of the admirals staff attack her.

“I.. don’t know who he was.. he looked like he was struggling. Like.. I can’t explain it.” Her body was shaking, violently, as she stood before her commanding officer, barely able to do just that. “I’d never seen him before.. but I went to help him, to see if he was okay. And he attacked.. like some kind of sick animal.”

Crystal tapped her comm badge. =/\= crystal to the COS we may have an intruder on board one of my personal was attacked by an unknown assailant .=/\= . She then looked at the crew member take a seat I’ll get a medical team her in a moment. Once Kathy had taken a seat she taped her comm badge again=/\= crystal to medical I need a medic in my office=/\= she then turned and watched Kathy.

IC: The woman was scared, her heartbeat tripling is normal rate. She couldn’t get out of her head those eyes.. the small, beady eyes.. a dark abyss that felt almost inescapable. In them, she saw only darkness, nothing beyond that and its friend: insanity. It was as if the man had gone mad, as if something had taken over his body. It startled her to the core, something incredibly hard to do to a marine. “He was insane.. he must have been.. no man in his right mind would act that way– surely!”

The XO was on his way back to the bridge and nearby when he heard the communication come over the system. He drew his phaser and rushed for the Maine Officer’s office. It was probably less than a minute before he appeared at the entrance with his phaser and entered the room scanning around for a second before realizing that there was no immediate threat in the room and put his phaser back on his belt. “What’s going on here Major??” He rushed over to the two trying to figure out what was going on.

Crystal shook her head and but a hand/paw over her eyes and the brig of her musele. “ Camander, please calm your self and put that weapon away this office is sacure. We have an intruder on bord they startled my intelligence officer Kathy” she said gesture to the officer curintly in a chair. Crystals ears lay back agenst her head her ice blue eyes were trained on the bed XO. Her fur seamed to stand on end and her tail twitched back and forth indicating agitated. Despite her body language her voice was calm and quiet. She was trying to to agitate Kathy any more then nesisary untill a medic arrived to evaluate her.

Snowflake the Marine units unafishal mascons and crystals companion shat next to Kathy. The large mail snow leopard lay his head across the young officers lap trying to calm her.

He was already in the process of putting his phaser away as she spoke. “Apologies Major, though when you hit the comms and mention a possible intruder with no context behind it .. I value the safety of the crew of this ship and wanted to ensure that you were safe.” He shrugged slightly, “Granted .. seeing as you’re the Marine you probably know a little more about combat than I do, but we could always use backup when we can, right?” He wanted to find some common ground they could both agree on as this actually was their first time actually meeting.

Kathy seemed relieved to have the company of the leopard, his weight alone offering security. “I.. I don’t think he was an intruder; his insignia was right, he wore the right uniform, and his name sounded familiar. A.. uhm.. his tag.. it read:..” she struggled to remember, bringing her hands to her temples in effort to give them something to work with.

“Take your time, there’s no rush..” Max tried to remember himself if he had seen anyone with an insignia on their right side, though he couldn’t remember anything at the moment. He’ll have to bring this up with the CO once he got back to the bridge. Still, an intruder onboard while there were diplomats and admirals aboard was something he didn’t want happening. Especially if this intruder was violent which seemed to be apparent now that he was closer and could see the intel officer’s eye.
