Main Sim: Beginings - At a quiet space port

“Behold, your new home.” Naanni said, with a flourish. They stood before a refurbished Federation Vessel, the hull recently scrubbed of all its Federation markers. Small, maybe ten decks, but perfect for a new and untested cell. “This ship was quite the lucky find,” Naanni continued. She lead them on a lap around the ship, pointing out the minimal weapons and passive systems as they went, “She was languishing in a Federation ship yard with rather dismal security and defense systems. So, we swooped in and snatched her before anyone was the wiser.”

Jezem nodded along, paying attention despite his lack of interest. He wouldn’t be the one flying her or keeping her running, so all this talk of weapons and deflector dishes seemed superfluous. If Naanni noticed this, she didn’t seem to care and kept up the specs talk until they finished their lap and came to a stop before the open hatch of the cargo hold. “We’ve done some refurbishing on the inside. We converted the separate crew quarters into far more reasonable group quarters and used the excess space to expand the bathing facilities.

“We’ve also added a kitchen, but kept one of the replicators as a back-up.” She said. It was the first thing she said that actively caught his interest and his excitement. Replicated food was terrible, and he couldn’t stand the Federation’s reliance upon replicators. Naanni suddenly turned and smiled, “Ah, looks like the others are finally here. Stand straight, young one. You’ll want to make a good first impression.” Jezem rolled his eyes, but stood just a little straighter. If only for Naanni’s sake.
