“Behold, your new home.” Naanni said, with a flourish. They stood before a refurbished Federation Vessel, the hull recently scrubbed of all its Federation markers. Small, maybe ten decks, but perfect for a new and untested cell. “This ship was quite the lucky find,” Naanni continued. She lead them on a lap around the ship, pointing out the minimal weapons and passive systems as they went, “She was languishing in a Federation ship yard with rather dismal security and defense systems. So, we swooped in and snatched her before anyone was the wiser.”

Jezem nodded along, paying attention despite his lack of interest. He wouldn’t be the one flying her or keeping her running, so all this talk of weapons and deflector dishes seemed superfluous. If Naanni noticed this, she didn’t seem to care and kept up the specs talk until they finished their lap and came to a stop before the open hatch of the cargo hold. “We’ve done some refurbishing on the inside. We converted the separate crew quarters into far more reasonable group quarters and used the excess space to expand the bathing facilities.

“We’ve also added a kitchen, but kept one of the replicators as a back-up.” She said. It was the first thing she said that actively caught his interest and his excitement. Replicated food was terrible, and he couldn’t stand the Federation’s reliance upon replicators. Naanni suddenly turned and smiled, “Ah, looks like the others are finally here. Stand straight, young one. You’ll want to make a good first impression.” Jezem rolled his eyes, but stood just a little straighter. If only for Naanni’s sake.

“Ah, so this is the hunk of junk you’ve secured for us? Has it even got weapons?” These were Shivan’s first remarks upon his arrival, coming to a stop next to Jezem. A stolen federation ship was certainly better than some freighter, though Shivan was still unsure he cared for the heat a stolen federation ship might bring. In his… short time with Starfleet, Shivan had yet to have the pleasure of stepping foot on a Starfleet vessel. Well, better late than never, he supposed.

Shivan’s personal specialty was weapons: bladed, bullets, or lasers, he didn’t care. He loved them all. That would be the best part of this ship, it would have much more powerful phasers than the ship his previous crew had lost. But the speed and defensive capabilities would likely also come in handy. He was a tall Andorian with silver hair, wearing casual clothes to blend in with others at the space port. Two hand phasers were strapped to his belt, and they weren’t easy to get his hands on.

Caid entered the space port confidently, ignoring the stares they got. A string of bells around their left ankle jingled with every step, and they moved with the fluid grace of a dancer. They slipped through the crowd, stopping directly in front of Naanni. “My lady. My Lord Doren sends his regards, and his best entertainer.” They bowed their head politely, although they were simmering with anger. Being sent to some second-rate crew because their patron had a crush on the requesting party was absurd, but they’d have to make the best of it. That in mind, they turned to their future crew members. “It’s an honor to meet you. I am Caid.”
