Scott and the few NEs he had under his command put hings in order, or disorder as the case may be, awaiting the appearance of the dread Inspector General, or at least the engineers assigned to the operations inspection. “Aight, when the inspector’s team comes in, turn on all the lights and all the support systems to the whole ship, but watch those levels. If they do crash, turn it off and route the power back so we don’t have people floating away in other parts of the station.”
The CE looked towards the door and took a sharp breath before looking to a screen and pushing a button, “Pol? Are you ready to upload yourself to the other ship? Remember you must be quick, silent, and delete yourself.”
