Kestiana Sahal wasn’t used to, life on a station the size of Serenity, In fact, she was only recently coming out of retirement. After serving aboard the USS Archer for several years under the Command of Captain Korath, the ship had been decommissioned when the Klingon captain had gone down fighting managing to save the lives of an ambassador and his people on the trip to earth. Kestiana had desired a break at that point. Of course, when she received a notice from Starfleet that Captain Michael Sideman would accept no other XO but herself, Kestiana felt she might as well see what the man had to offer her for working aboard a station like Serenity.
When Kestiana’s shuttle was within range she and her possessions were beamed aboard the station. The shuttle had two more officers to drop off deeper into the quadrant. With her duffle over her shoulder, she turned to greet the transporter operator. “Has Captain Michael Sideman arrived yet?” She asked as she stepped off the transporter padd.
“Yes Ma’am and you are?”
“Lieutenant Commander Kestiana Sahal, I’m the new XO of this station. “if you’ll just point me in the direction of the Quartermaster I’ll get squared away so I can report in.” She said with a smile and watched as the young man pointed her in that direction. “Thank you.” She said.
Kestiana Sahal made her way first to the Quartermaster for her quarter assignment. Having studied the station’s schematics Kestiana had an idea where they were and was glad to have that confirmed. The Betazoid/Human, made her way first to her quarters then started towards the Captain’s ready room figuring the Captain would be there.
