Melissa had arrived before Elizabeth had left the station. Melissa was one of the few people who knew about Elizabeth, and whom Elizabeth trusted with her finances. So when she needed someone to watch her bar or such Melissa was the one who was called in. Now she stood wiping down the bar while it was quiet and most officers were at their duty stations, or families were filtering in and out to get a bite to eat at the lounge.

Bar/Lounge Manager

Bump to not lose

Ensign MacMoragh come walking in that night looking for a drink. “Hi, do you have a beer?”

MacMoragh

“We always have a cold beer.” Melissa Wolfe responds to Ensign MacMoragh before getting that beer for him, which she placed on a coaster before him. “Anything else Ensign?” She asked softly even as the doors opened to let in Ferl’lak one of the financers of the Bar and Lounge.

Talking the drink MacMoragh Responded, “No, I think the beer will due. Thank you.”

MacMoragh

Melissa gave a nod to MacMoragh.

Ferl’lak came in with a PaDD and a serious look. He looked around at the place that he helped finance with buying her idea and marketing it to some of his, high-end casinos that he owns. Walking up top the bar two stools from MacMoragh he sat the PaDD down on the counter and examined it for cleansings. “I will have a Shira, please.”

Ferl’lak

“Welcome, Mr. Ferl’lak, I assure you like Elizabeth Notta, I run a tight and clean ship here.” She said when she noticed his in-depth examination of the bar as if to find dirt or smudges on it. but she kept everything as clean as it should be. She placed a coaster on the bar before putting the glass of Shira on top of the coaster. “Why so serious today sir?” She asked softly.

“Thank you my dear. ” He picked it up and took a sip. “Ah. Very good. The reason is is because it is time for the annual inspection. That is all. I will do what I did when Miss Notta was here. If you did or do as she did then no problems. It is just too see if equipment is up to date and good repair, cleanliness of the bar, kitchen, customer area, food if any kept at right temperatures. That kind of thing. So nothing to worry about. ” He smiled.

Ferl’lak

“Oh I’m not worried Mr. Ferl’lak, you’ll find nothing to worry about here at the City of Atlantis, I learned from Elizabeth how she likes her bar’s maintained and I follow it to the letter. so mi casa es tu casa.” Melissa said softly smiling at the Ferengi.

Melissa Wolfe, B&L Manager (notta is still owner lol she didn’t sell it :P )

Melissa continued to wipe down the counters as more customers came in. she went to one of the tables and took an order from a family that came in from lunch.

OCC: Evil Storyteller I am....

The customer at the table looked at his “family” as Melissa approached…when she got closer he put a phaser up in the air from under the table…

“Look here lady this is a robbery.....you will give me all the currency you have now…”

Storyteller

Melissa blinked only mildly surprised, “Well gee and I just sent all the currency to the bank. Do you seriously think the money would be here? I mean hello we deal in credits or latinum or are you just dumb?” She wasn’t afraid of the phaser aimed at her she figured it took him a minute to pull the trigger so she could dodge to the side before he could get a hit off on her. Like her friend and partner Elizabeth Notta who was a former Engineer, Melissa had training in security and martial arts even if she had never actually joined Starfleet.

Melissa Wolfe, B&L Manager

OOC: LOL

IC: “Let me get this straight…so you are not only telling me no…but you really think I will not shoot you where you stand....cause I will.....now go get the credits and maybe you can live to see another day.”

Storyteller

“Um yeah no.” She said and shifted quickly to the side knowing no one was seated behind her grabbed his wrist and slammed it down on the table causing him to drop the phaser. She grabbed it with her free hand and pointed it in his face. “Now if you were going to shoot me you’d have to get closer.” She said coldly hitting her combadge. “Melissa Wolfe to Security. I need assistance in my bar please,” She said into the combadge still holding the phaser directly in the man’s face. “Now I’m assuming this was set to kill? so I wouldn’t even breath if I were you, and I would tell your ‘family’ not to move either,” she told him with eyes alert to any movement he or his ‘family’ would make.

OOC: LOL

IC:

The man looked at Melissa with his hand hurting… “um..let’s talk about this. You know we could leave and we could make it worth your effort.”

Looking at his family he thought, “This woman is crazy.”

Storyteller

OOC: lol surprised that Mr. Ferl’lak or MacMoragh haven’t noticed what was going on yet lol

IC: “I don’t think so. we’re going to sit right here and wait for security to join us then you can explain to them why you decided that the right choice tonight was to try and rob this bar and lounge.” Melissa said instead not about to take her eyes off of any of them.

Melissa Wolfe, B&L Manager

OOC: Good point!! LOL

IC: Just then another guy entered the bar.....”Hey, you let them go or you will be sorry..” and yet another rife was being aimed at Melissa....it was just not her day.

Storyteller

OOC: Just realized we don’t have any security officers icly it seems.

ICly: Melissa looked to the new man, “Security should be here soon enough, so no I don’t think so, besides I doubt you could hit the broad side of an elephant given half a chance. She already knew most of her patrons had either left or hunkered down to hide and clearly, the Engineer and the Ferengi had also taken cover.

Melissa wasn’t wrong, The words weren’t when Lieutenant JG walked in right behind the man with the rifle and put his phaser to his head. “I think you should do as the lady says.” He wasn’t alone two ensigns and another Lieutenant Jg came in right behind him phasers raised as well. “Now I’m thinking this will end one of two ways,” Melissa smirked.
