Hello, Members of the club,

Before I go ahead and draft up some of the plans and ideas I have to discuss for the future of the Experimental Fleet I would like to take a few minutes to draft up a quick discussion regarding the possible uses for the Xfleets OOC ship ‘The Notice Board’.

At present, the board is currently been used as a second place to house information on the Experimental Fleet and how it works. It is my belief that the main Experimental Fleet page found here https://www.star-fleet.com/core/xfleet serves as enough space to cover the basic rules and information that is required for the fleet leaving the second page ‘The Notice Board’ free for expansion when it comes to developing the fleet further than it is currently.

At the moment I only have a few ideas ready for development regarding the OOC ship and those are as follows.
- A place to discuss new and possible future X-fleet premises.
- A place for current x-ships to advertise there ships and vacancies.
- A place to discuss possible changes to the fleet and BOXES

Although this discussion may benefit current Xfleet members I would be interested in receiving ideas and proposals from all members of the club.

I like all three options, but particularly #1. I feel a place is needed that can be used to layout an idea and gather support or further ideas for it. As it currently stands, there’s not a place to do that, and I’m sure many members of the fleet have ideas, but there’s nowhere to post them.

Hi Katy,

To begin with, let me start by thanking you for participating in this mini discussion of sorts. I completely agree with your thoughts on my first idea of using ‘The Notice Board’ as a place to draft up and discuss new premises. Using this option would allow for others to plan out each key detail and allow others to join in on the premise design before the x-ship application is submitted to the SOX. I have some key details but would love to discuss how this option would work in more detail.

The discussion on making this “OOC Ship” a place to plan ideas and gain support is what this board was originally created for by me when I was SOX. Had the board not been reactivated with limited knowledge of why it was created then this would be known.

Thank you for pointing this out I reactivated this ship a few weeks ago and I will now be spending the time to develop the OOC ship including the above idea an idea I now know you had when you were the former SOX. Just like any other member you are encouraged to include your thoughts on upcoming ideas.
