Amara could be found in her cell between her shifts stretching out trying to figure out how Myvera’s abductor had gotten her off the ship. It felt like an inside job they knew when and where to hit to get in unseen and unheard until Myvera was taken off the ship. She had too much time on her hands between shifts, being a prisoner she couldn’t exactly work extra hours, nor did she have a rank which was fine by her. She couldn’t voice her suspicions yet. For all, she knew someone else felt it was an inside job as well. The only thing she could do was work out what happened in her mind’s eye to see if she could figure out how.

Rylee Amara, Prisoner.

OOC: Looked everywhere for a prisoner number, but couldn’t find one so I decided just to give you one XD

IC: The echo of his boots could be heard as he approached the cell in a slow, steady, rhythm. Not hurried, but not slow either. Colonel Gunther was just looking through the halls, checking prisoners becoming more familiar with faces and names the longer he did this. He stopped in front of the field at Amara’s Cell before turning to face it.

“Prisoner number Juliet, Romeo, Alpha, 4, 4, Niner, Oscar, 2 (JRA-44-9O2). Designated name, Rylee Amara. Charges include voluntary manslaughter and negligent disregard for the Prime Directive.” He patiently waited to see how she’d respond with his arms behind his back, watching from behind the field. He was sure the Captain had already seen her previously, but from her record, it seemed that she was eligible for outside assignment during work hours. He was curious about her competency, personality, and info she might have since she was in close proximity to their abducted prisoner.

OOC: Sorry about the late response. School and then preparing for Thanksgiving hadn’t had much time to get on lol.

IC: Rylee contemplated ignoring him, but she was technically still a prisoner. “How can I help you, Colonel?” Rylee asked her eyes still closed as she laid on her bunk wondering if he was actually going to give her something to actually do. She missed her time as a security chief, and she knew that she was lucky to get this chance to work again even as a prisoner. She knew that if this was any other ship she would definitely be in a colony prison by now rather than working part-time in security.

Rylee Amara, Prisoner.

Gunther looked off to his left and nodded as one of the guards took down the barrier keeping her in. As he stepped through it closed immediately behind him. “I guess word travels fast about a new Warden, shouldn’t be surprised though.” He walked over and took a seat on her toilet, lifting one leg and resting his ankle on the opposite leg’s knee. “I’m not really one for much formality, you don’t need to stand or anything, just sitting up would be nice.” He watched her back as she was laying down at the moment, just waiting.

Rylee smirked slightly, she couldn’t help but like him. She moved to sit up and turned to face him so her feet rest on the floor rather than her bunk. “It helps that I have a few shifts in Security to help out especially now that Myvera Statin is missing, I assume that is why you are here right?” Amara asked the man sitting on her toilet.

“Beatin’ me to the punch again I see. Somewhat, yes. I’m sure Captain Bov’ar has already spoken with ya, but anything extra you might know would be useful.” He scrunched his eyebrow for a second looking up towards the ceiling. “Prisoner … Sierra Whiskey Tango 3-6-… Quebec Niner-1 I believe ..? She’s a dangerous one from what I’ve heard. Haven’t had the chance to meet her yet. Not particularly sure I want to. Heard Orion’s mess with your head the longer you’re around them.” He shrugged. “So tell me a little about yourself, something preferably not in your file.” So far he made no indication of whether he approved or disapproved of her actions which landed her here, but seemed just genuinely curious for the most part.

Warden

“Not much to tell outside of my file. Before being stranded on that planet I followed every rule to the letter. I was a loyal and decorated Security Officer and Mother.” She shrugged unable to look him in the eyes. Rylee never would have given someone like her a chance to screw it up again. Before being stranded on that planet for a year she never would have even thought to look at anyone who had done as she did with nothing more than contempt.

He had immediately noted that she averted her gaze away. “Hmm.. I see.” He slapped his thighs and stood up. “Come, walk with me.” He headed towards the door where the guard off to the right noticed and dropped the barrier. “Coming?” He turned and waited partially in the way of the barrier so that the guard didn’t re-activate it on him.

Honestly, Rylee was surprised by this, and for a microsecond, it showed before she could hide it. Getting off her bunk she moved to follow the Warden. “I won’t say no to stretching my legs.” She said softly. The prisoner looked to the guard wondering if he was going to attack her the second she passed beyond the barrier of the field that normally locked her in.

The guards grip tightened on his weapon as his glanced bounced back and forth between the Warden and the prisoner. It was clear that the Warden made no previous mention that he would be removing a prisoner from their cell for a moment. Not really understanding what was going on another guard from across the catwalk raised his weapon towards them, but before anything could be said or done the Colonel simply just raised his hand and they stood down. The guard reactivated the barrier after she stepped out just to keep everything secure. Gunther began just walking down the catwalk as he spoke. “So, tell me about how the events occurred as they happened. What caused you to crash on that planet ..?” Before she could really say anything he glanced backwards over his shoulder. “I do understand it might not be the most comfortable thing to talk about, but I’m genuinely curious. Trying to imagine myself in your shoes, so to say.” He continued to walk along the catwalk, their destination currently unknown. Though as they would walk by, the guards would just watch them as they passed.
