Door locked, check.
Lights low, check.
Security parameters up, check.

Tapping their fingers against the base of the table, their eyes jumped from place to place, their gaze endlessly refocussing. They hadn’t much time, knowing how advanced the security measures were on this ship. They needed to act quickly, or they would have security officers on their tail before they could even begin the transfer of information to the person working on the other side of things. Impatiently, they waited, staring at the screen for a few seconds, which remained black and without any visible light emanating from it.

“Come on..” They muttered, able to feel the clock spin backwards around them as time begun to sift out of the picture, leaving them with less and less of it. If they were not contacted soon, they would–

“Lieutenant.” A voice patched through, the screen glitching before a large, widebased man came into view. His skin, painted in the emerald greens of his people, was dashed and dotted in a series of wretched tattoos that seemed only add to the hostility of his character. Teeth, both incisors draped in gold, where medicine was not ad advanced for them to be replaced, in his organization. At least, at the time of their loss.

“Rasris.. What took you so long?” They hissed at him, nearly spitting at the screen. “Boy, am I angry to see you. You do realize you just wasted over half of this communication?”

“And you are wasting the other half, Jebidiah. I suggest you get talking, before I end this side of the deal, and take that ship into my own hands.” The man hissed, somewhat intimidating the creature who was far smaller.

A sigh.

“Fine. I managed to clear up most of the evidence in the cell. DNA, blood, all of that has been taken care of. I simply washed it away when I was taking ‘examples..’ So you shouldn’t have to worry about them figuring out one of your idiotic men did this,” They rolled their eyes. “However, the more information I tried to get, in order to conceal, the more concerned that Head Guard became. I think he knows something, Rasris.”

“Let him suspect you. Let him think he has something on you. He doesn’t.” The man grumbled, narrowing his eyes as he stared over at the J’naii person. “And do you expect you will be able to complete the task?”

“I don’t think so. If I go back in there, Vonn is going to grow more suspiscious, and that is going to get the captain and the warden in on it. Both of those people are not ones I fancy messing with.”

“Get the information erased, or I will go through with killing every member of your contingent.” Rasris seethed, “Remember, you work for me, Lieutenant. Don’t forget where your loyalties lie. You want those people to survive?”

“Yes, sir.” They responded, their voice growing shakey, even when they tried to keep it even and calm.

“Then get that information erased, now. I won’t give you another chance after this, J’naii.” He hissed, “The next time you comm me, it better be good news.”

“It will be, sir–.” They turned when the sensor beside them began to beep. “They’re going to sense this in fifteen seconds, I have to go.” And quickly, they ended the transmission.

Leaning back in their seat, they pressed their hands to their face. They had to find a way to erase that information, before the wretched Orion killed off every member of the contingent they came with. It would mean nothing to the people of the Swift, but it meant something to them.

Jebidiah

Vonn and Gunther stood on the outside of the door. The listening device Vonn had planted on the man in the Control Center was broadcasting clearly, and a thin wire connected to Vonn’s helmet and an earpiece let Gunther hear the exchange as well. Once the conversation finished, the helmet turned to Gunther and said very lowly “I will keep him here. You should get the Captain, Sir. She needs to be here.” As he spoke, he took a small link from the braided metal belt that he always wore and placed it on the door’s access panel. An almost imperceptible light flashed red a few times, and then went green. A matching light flashed on his wrist guard.

Stepping across the passageway, Vonn pulled out a hold-out phaser pistol from the small of his back and set it to the highest possible stun setting. “If I fire, the alarms will sound. Make sure you get back as fast as you can.” he said, taking extra precautions against Jebidiah hearing him.

Vonn, Head Guard

Gunther nodded once and bumped the side of a fist against his environmental armor. “If possible, we’ll need him alive. At minimum, long enough to get some answers. Once the alarms go off I’ll need to initiate a lockdown. Only you and I have override abilities to move about the prison, I’ll bring the Captain as quickly as possible.” A slight grin tugged at his lips as the action was about to get into play and adrenaline starting to creep it’s way into his system. “Good hunting.”

With that being said he started making his way back towards the prison section of the ship to prepare for the lockdown before collecting the Captain at a quick run.

Col. Gunther
Warden

“Gunther?” Bov’ar inquired, turning to the man, when she heard him approaching from behind. “Is everything all right? You seem rushed?”

Bov’ar

Jebidiah pressing their fingers against their temple, understanding the precarious position they were left within. This could be disastrous, whichever way they took. They didn’t want anyone in that contingent to be killed. Hell, they COULDN’T let anyone be killed. Jebidiah had been sent over as the one intended to protect them, the man for the job, as their commanding officer had told them. After their freighter was destroyed, there was nowhere else to turn, than to finding a way from the reckage. Accepting this task, knowing they had no choice but to protect those people, consisting of two children as well, they ventured into space. It had not been their lucky day..

Jebidiah still recalled the shrills, the screams of horror that came as each member of their small contingent was stolen from before them. They could see the blood pouring through their bleary eyes, as they struggled from their position on the ground. They could hear the hissing of those Syndicate memebers, could sense the hostility in their ways. Another fire to the back of their head, and those screams sent them into a deep sleep.

Their body convulsed, a shiver running down their spine at the sheer thought of what had happened on that fateful evening, now three months prior. They recalled the meeting after, the torture that came of them, and the threat that was sent their way. If they did not assist the Syndicate, the Syndicate would kill every member of the people they had been sentenced to protecting.. And that was a risk they could not take.

During all of this, they did not move, completely unaware they had been intercepted and overheard. Sighing, they turned from the screen and moved from their chair, heading for the bed of their room.

OOC: Just editing my reply, I had it phrased by accident that I thought we were still in the prison area, my bad.

His breathing definitely a bit elevated he ushered her to come with by passing her and holding up his fist giving it a double pump to indicate a double-timed cadence (run). “We gotta get to the prison first really fast Captain. Have to get it set for a lockdown since your alarms are about to go off.” He thought he’d drop the big bomb first so she wouldn’t be blindsided by the alarms that were sure enough ready to go off any second.

The Captain rose her eyebrows, but did not say a word to him, at least not without pausing for a split second. “What happened?” She attempted to maintain calm.

“That Scientist that came aboard, I found it fishy that he was asking odd questions just as the Major, not to mention he did arrive - very quickly after the disappearance of our prisoner. The Major- GANGWAY!” He shouted at a group of random Lieutenants that were clustered in the hallway for them to move their asses up and in a hurry so that they could get through as they circled around of the passageways. ” The Major managed to get a listening device on him and we both heard him talking - to someone I’m assuming is from the Syndicate or one of their organizations. - Someone named Rasris? Regardless, Vonn is going to try - and capture the Scientist. We need to get back to him ASAP - once the Prison is in lockdown.”

Col. Gunther
Warden

“Rasris?” The woman thought for a second, picking up her speed once the Lieutenants had moved out of the way. Now jogging, she found the name was familiar, but she couldn’t pinpoint where she had heard it before. “Did they give any last name?” She asked, heading down the tangle of halls that led towards the prison sector of the ship, which was sealed completely from the remainder of the vessel. A checkpoint was the entrance to the prison, one everyone had to go through, in order to get in. “Are we headed to the prison or his quarters?” She inquired, noting that residential quarters would be further down the hall, where the turbolift was, then several decks above. She didn’t pause in her movement, eager to get wherever they were going, especially if it meant there was a saboteur on board.

Captn. Bov’ar
CO

“Negative, didn’t hear a last name to it. ” They rounded another corner away from the residential area finally getting to one of the longer hallways before the first prison checkpoint. “Prison first for that lockdown, then we’ll meet back up with Vonn at his quarters, shouldn’t take too long, just need to be inside the prison area to give the command.” The separation of the prison from the rest of the Starfleet vessel allowed it so that commands couldn’t be fed in from the outside. It kept it isolated from the rest of the ship as well to prevent Commands being sent the other way too. There were, however, some minor integrations like the communications system.

OOC: Vonn can probably start his stuff here and have the alarms go off :D Getting to residential wouldn’t be too far once they’re at the Prison

Col. Gunther
Warden

“Very well. We should have a criminal database on him, if he has ever been caught by the Federation or Starfleet. Perhaps we can find some information on this Rasris if we look hard enough.” Although, the pensive nature of her voice gave away her intentions, and they weren’t to figure out who this Orion man happened to be. “All right. Lead the way, Colonel.” Bov’ar gestured the man, who was of equal rank, to lead the way through the prison checkpoints, seeing it fit that he did so, as they were his guards.

Captn. Bov’ar

Vonn’s device on the door gave a location of all persons inside the room. He watched as the suspect made his way to the bathroom, and Vonn moved to the door. He knew the Warden would have the CO in tow by now. He pressed the chime to the suspect’s room, took a step back, and aimed his phaser at the point the man’s chest would be. As the door slid open, Vonn fired once at the highest stun setting.

The alarms began to blare and the Computer announced “Weapons discharge detected. Security to Residential Section Four. Repeat: Weapon discharge detected. Security to Residential Section Four.”

OOC: Assuming the suspect falls:

Vonn moved into the room and pulled the unconscious man back so the door would slide shut and placed restraints on the suspect before he awoke. H ethen tapped his comms and said =/\=Vonn to Warden. Subject detained. =/\=
